  1. We did Trikes-Auba tour in November. Maybe the most fun we've had on an excursion! Very nice deluxe trikes (Rewacco, check their website for info). Met us at the pier for sort ride to their shop. Explained the controls and took a test ride before you have to drive with them on board to show you are able to operate safely. Guided tour was 4+ hours with several stops.

    Have already arranged to do it again on Coz in February if they're up and running.

    A note on the trikes.They are factory built in Europe using Mitsubishi 4 cylinder engines with automatic transmission. Wife and I have both been riding motorcycles for over 40 years and we enjoyed these very much. You really don't need any motorcycle experience to drive/ride one of these. Very stable and easy to get used to.

    A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ rating from us!

  2. We are going Dec 21 from Valpraiso Chile on Crown. Last cruise my wife rented a GOGO and had lots of fun and rammed the door several time with it. Pretty narrow but doable and we could turn it around in a reg balcony then park it in front of the vanity. She now has a folding one so it should work even better. A few people hate them and will push ahead into venues and elevators but the majority are polite and will give you your turn. I'm 6ft 215 lb so I just cross my arms and stand in the way. No one has pushed me yet.:D

    Thanks. Yes I've noted on previous cruses that MOST people are friendly and respect your personal space while using a scooter. On one occasion I had a person attempt to dart past me into an elevator and separate me from the three people I was with. I'm sure she won't do it again and I apologized for running over her foot!

  3. I'm about to book on the Liberty out of Galveston on Feb 5, and my son pointed out it's Superbowl Sunday, but if they make it a party like it sounds here we'll book it. He's a Chiefs fan and probably won't mater except for the party. The cruise is a wedding gift from us to them so he shouldn't complain!

  4. We are confirmed for this on Nov 23 (?) when we're in port on the Caribbean Princess. Looked too fun to pass up since we both ride our own at home. Will post our review and maybe video wen we get home!

    Glad I found out about it here! :D

  5. I took the armrests off 9 years ago as they were too much a pain when loading into the car :rolleyes:. If I recall he layout correctly I think I'll be able to back up a bit and get a fairly straight run thru the door. It may look like a first attempt at parallel parking kn a tight spot :eek: but I'm sure it's do-able! If I crash badly I'll post some pix :p. Anyone else onboard for this cruise?

  6. We did book the regular stateroom (OV obstructed) after checking the door dimensions and the scooter dimensions. Looks like it will fit. :D

    May be a tight fit but that's my fault for not booking sooner. :rolleyes:

    Still will be a great cruise.

    The scooter is a Pride GoGo Elite Traveler. Specs show width as 19" so we'll see. If push comes to shove I'll break it partway down to save space.

    Thanks

  7. I use a Pride Gogo Elite 3 wheel model. I usually ride to the gate and then ask what the ramp staff would like as far as instruction goes. Usually they ask to set it in freewheel and fold seat and tiller down as flat as possible. I take the key with me. As a precaution I do have my pho Hope this helps,ne number all over it just in case. In nine years of traveling with it it's suffered from losing the trim panels and one cracked spot on the battery shell (not the battery). Hope this helps.

    Happy Cruising!
