Nearpost 345 again my thanks for the updates which are so helpful. Sounds like a fantastic trip.
Correct me if I am wrong but it seems Windstar is either docking right in the heart of things or providing free shuttles for short trips to town- the beauty of a small ship. Have fun on the rest of your voyage.
Are you leaving the ship in Amsterdam?

Nearpost345 Thank you so much for your information. I am so excited to have the locations and so far they seem great. Please excuse my not responding sooner. I have been avoiding the heat way in the Pacific Northwest in the Olympic National Forest.
Beautiful but no internet. Please keep the info coming. I really appreciate it. Any tours you would recommend. Thanks again.- 1

Nearpost345, thank you so much. That would be terrific. Any other tips, must do's, or advise you care to include would also be much appreciated. Hoping you have a wonderful time on your trip.

I am booked on the August 24, 2023 Amsterdam to Bordeaux cruise on Windstar Star Legend and am trying to get detailed information on the exact locations of the docking areas for each port of call, i.e how far from city center. I called Windstar and they said that information is provided with final documents. I am wondering if any of you who are on the May 14th sailing would be willing to share that information as I assume you have received it? I know there are always last minute changes but getting some idea would be most helpful. I am particularly interest in the locations in Rouen, Lorient, and La Rochelle. Any information anyone can provide would be most appreciated. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.

Hi, having trouble finding current web addresses for tours specializing in snorkeling on Rangiroa. We will be on Oceania's Marina on 3/21 and are looking for at least a half day trip. Any advice would be appreciated.

This all day tour is on but needs 6 more people for Fakarava on 1/30.
Respond to fakaravaexplorer@hotmail.com
This tour gets rave reviews on cc and trip advisor.

Yes we are really anxious to get something nailed down for 1/30 in Fakarava. We have been in contact with both Ato Lissant whose boat is apparently broken and unavailable and Ariane Medina of Dive Spirit Fakarava which we posted info under Don Viajero. It is for an afternoon snorkel (pick-up at the dock at 1:30 and back at 4:00) They go to one site Pufana which is a pinnacle in front of North Pass or Ohotu Reef on the right side of North Pass depending on the weather. Haven't used them but they are highly rated on Trip Advisor. Anyone else used them? It's 8,000 cop/pp, I think about $70. Max. 6 people to a group, 12 max per boat.
They provide equipment & wet suits. Any questions contact them info@divespirit.com
Hope you are interested. I think they might even do it for 4 people.
Our names are Jeanne & Hugh. Hope to see you soon.

It's not in Tahiti. On 1/30 the island is Fakarava. Depending on the weather, it will either be Pufana which is a pinnacle in lagoon in front of North Pass or Ohotu Reef which is the right side of North Pass. Check out their website
divespirit.com and also reviews on cc and trip advisor.

Since the PG snorkel trips are full I found another company divespirit.com that is offering snorkel trip with pickup on the dock at 1:00PM drop-off about 4:00.
cost is 8,000 CFP (about US $70) including gear and wet suit if needed. I do not have any personal experience with them but they get great reviews. Anyone have any personal experience with them? Also is anyone on the 1/28/17 sailing interested in joining? If so please respond on cc and contact Ariane at
info@divespirit.com We need 2 or more new people. Thanks for any info anyone might have.

I'll keep trying and let you know.

Hi all,
Unfortunately I think we waited too long to book either a snorkel or motto picnic for Fakarava. Everything from the ship is sold out and we have tried contacting Ato's Fakarava Explorer with no luck. Does anyone have a current e-mail for him or are there any other options? I replied to another thread on CC that was looking for people to join them but have not heard back from them either. I'm beginning to panic, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hi, If you still have room, my husband and I are very interested. Do you have any more details? We are very interested in the snorkeling aspects rather than the beach sitting. Is Ato leading this tour or would it be someone else? Who do we need to contact? Thanks for organizing this. This will be our second time on the PG but first time to Fakarava.

Just received final cruise documents for the August 22, 2023 sailing and the stop in Honfleur disappeared.. ... Sorry to miss it, but Zebrugge/Bruges is still there. Maybe the travel fairy will
make it appear again. Still very excited about this itinerary. For any of you who are following this
thread, the price of the cruise dropped significantly. Unfortunately, the airfares are now ridiculous.
C'est la vie!
