Does anyone have or can they point me to the activity schedule for the Seaside Kids club. Will be on an Eastern itinerary in July and am interested in the kids activities for both the 3-6 and 7-11 groups. Thanks in advance.

Great review FL Sunshine! We will be on this itinerary in July and I have a question about the port time for Nassau. You noted it as an 8am arrival, MSC site shows 9am (and a year ago when we booked original docs said 10:30 arrival). Understanding things change and there’s never a guarantee, but I’m curious if you can confirm were you in port by 8am? I’m trying to join a local scuba excursion and figuring out a realistic arrival time.
Thanks
Matt

Thanks for the Fun Pass info. For some reason I had thought that the Fun pass was an "all you can use" type package for the entertainment options listed. Now I understand its like a bonus for buying so many credits for the various activities. Much appreciated. Looking forward to trying out Seaside in July.

Thanks for sharing these! Regarding the Fun Pass, do recall how much those cost either per person or per cabin? The picture is a little too fuzzy to read the price when I download. Thanks so much.

Yes. There is a small room dedicated for this with dedicated check in agents, seats for waiting, usually some juice/coffee/cookies, etc. Once checked in from here you will be escorted in small groups onto the ship and taken up to the Haven area for a brief intro and welcome from the concierge staff up there. (this is based on our last -away class ship experiences).I have not been able to locate details on this topic, is there a Haven guest area at this port? We sailed out of Miami last year, but non-Haven and I didn't notice at that time. Thanks in advance!

I asked this question on another thread but can't find it. Does the Haven Restaurant offer the specials that are in the MDRs like the Beef Wellington? I'm not too good at navigating CC.
From our experience in the Haven restaurant 2 weeks ago.. no the MDR specials such as Wellington aren't on the Haven menu...but if asked for the staff will try to accommodate and get those items and bring them to you. Also to add that in my opinion while the specials aren't part of the regular menu...the regular Haven dinner menu is wonderful. Filet, prime rib, lobster, and other goodies available every night as standard fare. And a tip...the Haven breakfast daily was amazing!

Nope...no coins or tokens allowed...just a swipe of your room key card and each game is charged to your account. Games ranged from $1-$2.50 from what we saw on our cruise a few weeks ago on Escape.

Only thing I will add is that on deck 17 of Escape this is the Haven area and some cabins have bathrooms that go all the way to the sea, so the balconies don't connect. For example we were on a couple weeks ago in rooms 17708 and 17710 and while next to each other the balconies didn't connect/weren't next to each other due to the placement of the master bath in the 2 bedroom suite.

We had 17710 two weeks ago. This was a great cabin, very convenient to the Haven pool area. I'd select it or nearby cabins again in a heartbeat! And our Butler Jeffrey and steward Jezreel were excellent!

In my opinion the best location would be on deck 17...that way as others have mentioned you have rooms above you and not the sun deck where you may hear noise of chairs moving. We were on deck 17 cabins 17708 and 17710 last week on Escape and thoroughly enjoyed these. The one caveat was that while the rooms were next to each other, the balconies didn't connect due to the bathroom in the 2 bdroom suite extending all the way to the side of the ship for the water view windows. Had we known we may have picked two different rooms where the balconies could have connected...but such a small inconvenience for a wonderful trip!

Last week on Escape in the Haven we boarded the boat about 1130am, relaxed in the lounge, were told we could drop carry ons in our room which we did, and then rooms were ready just after 1pm fully.

Congrats on your honeymoon. You will LOVE the Haven. We just got off last week and had a wonderful time. The Haven lounge, pool area, and sun deck were great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main pool deck. The Haven restaurant was exceptional, best restaurant on the ship in our opinion. We only wished that we had done more meals in the Haven restaurant. We did all breakfasts there, only 1 lunch, and 2 dinners...we should have done more! Enjoy and have a blast.

We will be in two side-by-side cabins on the Escape, 17708 and 17710...wondering if anyone knows if there is the ability for a partition to be opened between these balconies? Thanks to all who may know.

I would not worry about this one.
In our Haven experiences we have see tables moved to make seating for as many as 12.
We have not been on the Escape but after seeing pics of the restaurant, this should not be any issue
Thanks. Appreciate the feedback.

Wondering if people can tell me if they've seen tables for 6 in the Escape Haven restaurant? Most pics I've seen show tables for 2 and 4. Want to make sure our group will be able to eat together. Thanks.

Just my two cents, have done Explorer, Pride, and Splendor...of the three my choice would be Splendor. A great boat, in very good condition offered something for everyone and a very good value in general. Only thing that for me would be another influence would be the itinerary. And for me I prefer the 8 day Bahamas, or Caribbean vs a Bermuda run.
