Hi we are doing a 7 day Rome to Rome cruise on Royal clipper. Our ports of call will be Ponza, Palmarola, Sorrento, Amalfi, Taormina and Lipari.

Has anyone been on this cruise and know what times they are in port or how easy it is to do private excursions.

Any recommendations for companies for any of the above ports if you have done private excursions. There will be 4 of us.

Hi we are docking at west harbour at 10.00am and were wondering what was the fastest way to get to the ferry terminal for the ferry to Suomenlinna. When we looked at the trip planner it stated it was 45 minutes by public transport- bus and tram but 32 minutes walking. We are moderately fit. Would the shuttle buses be any quicker? Are the shuttle buses run by the cruise ship or the harbour?

After touring Suomenlinna we plan to return to market square and then if time permits do the circuit on the tram.
