Just got off her 2 weeks ago. Don't listen to all the negative remarks. She is still a remarkable ship. Loved it. I prefer the smaller ships. We had an ocean view and my son's bed pulled down from ceiling. Rooms are not used as much....too much going on. Emjoy!!

How would you know who needs to use a bathroom? You are on a cruise ship eating copious amounts of food.

Yes if you read the thread I was quoting, he was asking about a villa. The villa has a full bathroom and shower in it.

D was perfect location. Right in the middle. Bathroom directly behind although you don't need it. About a block from all the rental euipment. I took tons of pics of the villa too. If you'd like to see them. It was still close enough to hear the music...but not crowded.

Nice pics! A cabana is the perfect way to enjoy the perfect beach.

Yes, we will always book one when we go there now, however, we will get the Villa next time...and I wand C or D. I scouted them out while there.

WOW...is all I can say about the Cabana. So glad that we rented it. I pre-paid it online under the Carnival website. It was $279 for all day rental.

After reading tons of reviews on here, I made sure we went directly to the Excursions desk to get which Cabana I wanted. We went with #8. Perfect choice for me. It was mostly in the shade, yet walking out on the deck, I was in the sun.

This cabana was midway down. The bathrooms were directly to the side of us, the rentals of equipment (boat, board, bikes) was just a bit down on the other side, along with the big Pirate ship bar. I think #8 is the one I will always go with.

As you can see by the pics....its very close to the water. I got to choose 8 soda's and water to go in it. Along with the size of the snorkel gear needed. We only had 3 in our party, but plenty of room for a couple more.

almond milk comes in cartons so you should be ok no matter what.

Yeap...bought 8 of the small juice box size to bring.

You mentioned an 11 year old son.

 

The lower numbered cabanas will be closer to the water toys.

Please post a review when you get back. We will be on the Sensation in August and are thinking of getting a cabana. Have a great cruise.:)

EEEKKKK just booked us one. We have talked about it for weeks. Just myself, my husband and our 11 year old son.

We have leave in 15 days.....also have FTTF so once I get on the Sensation, heading directly to confirm my cabana. Recommendations on what one I should get and why?

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. You can't just book the beach. Melia is a hotel and if you get a day pass, it includes the use of hotel property (pools, chairs, towels) and beach access.

Ha I totally understand that. I was looking for the link to book the all day pass or who you bought it from. When I tried doing a search, all I get is booking for the hotel rooms themselves. I don't see any offers to book the day pass.

How would I book my all day package for Melia beach? I've tried searching but I get hotel included. THANKS!

Did you park at the port? If so...do we pull up and drop our luggage off and then my husband can go park by himself?
