We went last year to Amber Cove and heading back there on our next cruise in two days. mz-s is correct the port area it self is small with a hand full of shops. But it does have a large pool area free of charge like Grand Turk. They do have a water slide but I am sorry to say I do not believe your son will be tall enough to go down.

We are leaving in 9 days. I hope to be packed by this weekend. I agree with you it seems like it taking forever to get here.

When you confirm onboard you will be asked about allergies and they will make you something that is similar to everyone elses but safe for you. My wife does not eat onions and mushrooms and they made everything for her without them ( sauces included)

I have a few question?

What kind of food do they prepared? Do you have choices or is it this like here is your food eat it or leave it? Also what if someone can not eat shellfish do they make something special just for them?

Kind of Bummed we are not going to have the upgrades for our trip on Monday.

But we did pick this cruise due to it was going to Half Moon Cay, which we love and wanted a beach day.

I haven't been able to focus since October. We're driving down to NOLA on Thursday. We're on the same cruise.

What is Nola? I'm new to cruising.

 

 

It is the port we are leaving from. We always head down a day earlier then the cruise. We are fearful we will miss the ship if we drive/fly the day of.

I am not getting much work done this week... I can not stay focus since I am leaving this Friday for NOLA.

How many days until your next cruise?

We did a few years ago. What we did was go to dollar tree a picked up a magnet Christmas tree and put our gifts under the tree since we could apply it to the wall.

My mother thought it was a good idea to open our gifts in our swim suits and we agreed with her cause we did not want an unhappy mom. It was fun.

We also limit the amount money for the gifts to 20 dollars. We didn't want to drag all our gifts on and off the ship.

I think this year we are going to wrap pictures of the gifts since suitcase space is golden now days and give the real gifts when we get home.
