Went last week and the busiest day was registering my child. After that checking my child in and out was a breeze with barely any wait. It was not crowded at all in the kids club and I was on Harmony.

Well, we know who is going to the Comedy show with a stick up there......

I just tag the top and side handle and so far have not lost neither tag.

We all did a PCR test a few days before our cruise and all of us except one person tested negative for covid, but when they did antigen that same day they were negative.

Just got my email today and boarding in two weeks. Maybe this will help. The only problem I read is that if you are not registered there will be a delay. Other than that you will get on the ship at long as the child is negative.

Looks like they added new guidelines to their website. Guess they got tired of people calling.

The website is almost useless. You can't do much from it compared to Carnival. Find cruises, picking staterooms, etc, is so much easier. RCI doesn't use the Verifly app, preferring to do everything by paper, like we're in 15th century England. We can't test 3 days out, so coming to port a couple days early means we have to test there, which means a negative tests causes A LOT of preventable problems. Given how many covid outbreaks have been happening on RCI lately, does it even matter if we test?

 

Then this whole fiasco with the Quantum ship not going to all the destinations, and absolutely no communication about it, no updates on the (worthless) web site, etc. My itinerary still shows excursions I booked and paid for, yet they're on days listed as sea days, or they don't fit into the new port schedule. Seriously, it shouldn't take this long to fix something, and it absolutely floors me that for what you pay for an RCI cruise, the service is non-existent.

I didnt get my cruise documents or luggage tag until 30 days before the cruise. I guess thats the new norm.

Walgreen was my first choice since they had Rapid Naat. I guess I will using my backup which is Curative.

Anyone know the approximate time they start taking pictures on formal nights?

Normally I pick my own room when cruising but this time I decided to let Royal pick the room. So today I was finally assigned a room and it is a balcony handicapped room. Do they normally assigned these rooms to people that do not need them? I am wondering will they change the room or not when we check in at the port. I prefer not to have this room if someone else need it.

I was looking to drop my 6 year old at 7pm since they are open from 7pm-10pm. I wanted to know if the process goes quick since I scheduled all my dining times at 730pm

How long does it take to check in child into Adventure Ocean around dinner time.

Galveston is my homeport and I hate it. The wait time is always a few hours but when I sail out of Port Canaveral or Everglades the wait is always less than 30 minutes. ☹️

At long as they do not change the vaccine requirement for 5-11 year olds, I am good.

Im curious how this will be enforced. If I bring an open bottle of wine that is half full, do they still charge a corkage fee?

No one thought about putting a luggage tag on the top handle and side handle. That way if one comes off, the other is still there.

I am flying southwest for my cruise in June. I was so tempted to fly in the day of the cruise but my nerves got the best of me. Whined up taking the last flight the day before the cruise.

Essentials employees, for example, U.S. Customs, Border Patrol, TSA and etc will still be doing their current duties if the government does shutdown. They will basically be working for free until the government opens back up.

It was 30% last week and changed to 20 last Wednesday

Thanks for Harmony's dinner menus. I surely was looking for those. :D

I thought they increased the price because it was getting closer to my cruise date. Good that wasnt the case. They also increased the alcohol package as well. Its not longer 30% off.
