    Ok thank you, makes sense.

  2. I have booked a European Princess Cruise , on the Regal Princess, this cruise has two tender ports. I use a lightweight scooter called a Travelscoot, weights 35 pounds, also folds up.  I am able to walk down stairs with a cane. My question is does anyone have any experience with being able to tender with either a wheelchair, or small lightweight scooter.

I am aware that it is up to the Captain, and it depends on weather, but. I have been on 6 Celebrity Cruises ,and have tendered many times. Just looking to see if it possible .

    Thank You for your input.

Leave no earlier than 9 am in order to miss the peak rush hour traffic. Listen to traffic reports on  WCBS 880 (traffic and weather "on the 8s") and WINS 1010 (traffic and weather "on the 1s") and pick the best route based on the actual conditions that morning. The delays due to other factors such as accidents or vehicle breakdowns can often be worse than anything caused by construction.

Since Dec. 20 isn't a holiday I would assume construction would be taking place that day.

FYI...if you take the GW Bridge you'll be going "down" the West Side Highway as you'll be headed from uptown toward downtown.

Thks for the info, your right about going “down” always get that back wards!

when is the construction going to be finished?

  4. I was in Bruges last month, we were on the Celebrity Reflection. I use a small folding scooter (TravelScoot). I was able to take the cruise excursion, which was just transportation. They put the scooter below.  The cobble stones were pretty bad in places, but we went all over.

  5. Ok I have spent about 1 hour reading back post, here is my situation. We have not been on an NCL cruise in a few years.

I have a little over 75000 points, my wife has over 125000 points. I just book an aft cabin on the bliss for Dec20, I also booked a balcony cabin for my daughter and her boyfriend. I need an accessible cabin (which) I have.

i know I can cash in points for onboard credit, but my question is can we use our points for my daughter since we are paying for both cabins?  Also how would the double meta work if I need an accessible cabin? If I booked an inside accessible could I do the two cabin upgrade to an aft?

Any one have any ideas, welcome all suggestions

    Thank You

  6. In September we will be going on our 6th Celebrity cruise. I use a small lightweight travel scooter, and yes as long as you have some mobility, ie can climb steps into a bus. You can take shore excursions. Contact the Celebrity Access Department, they are very good.  Most times they reserve the front seat for me and my wife in the bus. They are the main reason we travel on Celebrity.
