We are arriving @ Heathrow, on Virgin Atlantic. We have a car service picking us up. I am told to meet the car driver @ WH Smith?
Not sure what this means. I assume we go to Customs, and then get our luggage. Then go find the driver. Can anyone tell me how fare it is to this pickup spot?thank you

Going on the Regal Princess August 31, but will be spending a few days in Paris pre-cruise. I need a small lightweight scooter to get around, so taking the train with luggage is not a good option.
Has anyone used a private car service from Paris to Le Havre, looking for recommendations.

We did this tour last Sep, one of the best tours I have ever been on. I think we had 4 or 5 vans full from our Celebrity cruise. Worth every penny!!

I have booked a European Princess Cruise , on the Regal Princess, this cruise has two tender ports. I use a lightweight scooter called a Travelscoot, weights 35 pounds, also folds up. I am able to walk down stairs with a cane. My question is does anyone have any experience with being able to tender with either a wheelchair, or small lightweight scooter.
I am aware that it is up to the Captain, and it depends on weather, but. I have been on 6 Celebrity Cruises ,and have tendered many times. Just looking to see if it possible .
Thank You for your input.

Leave no earlier than 9 am in order to miss the peak rush hour traffic. Listen to traffic reports on WCBS 880 (traffic and weather "on the 8s") and WINS 1010 (traffic and weather "on the 1s") and pick the best route based on the actual conditions that morning. The delays due to other factors such as accidents or vehicle breakdowns can often be worse than anything caused by construction.
Since Dec. 20 isn't a holiday I would assume construction would be taking place that day.
FYI...if you take the GW Bridge you'll be going "down" the West Side Highway as you'll be headed from uptown toward downtown.
Thks for the info, your right about going “down” always get that back wards!
when is the construction going to be finished?

We will be staying in Edison NJ, and driving in to The NCL Bliss on Friday December 20th. A couple of questions.
1) would we be better going the Lincoln Tunnel, and should we get up early or try leaving after 9 am.
2) would we be better taking the GW BRIDGE , and come up the west side hgwy?
will they stop the construction for the holiday?

We were on Overloards tour about 6 weeks ago. Very well run. My wife and I sat in the front with the driver. It was tight, my wife is tall and I am 6”3 and pretty big. We were ok, and since we were next to the drive we spoke with him all day.
I have to say, this was one of the best private tours we have ever been on.

I was in Bruges last month, we were on the Celebrity Reflection. I use a small folding scooter (TravelScoot). I was able to take the cruise excursion, which was just transportation. They put the scooter below. The cobble stones were pretty bad in places, but we went all over.

Does anyone know the hours from last years Holiday period, since they have not posted this years

Ok I have spent about 1 hour reading back post, here is my situation. We have not been on an NCL cruise in a few years.
I have a little over 75000 points, my wife has over 125000 points. I just book an aft cabin on the bliss for Dec20, I also booked a balcony cabin for my daughter and her boyfriend. I need an accessible cabin (which) I have.
i know I can cash in points for onboard credit, but my question is can we use our points for my daughter since we are paying for both cabins? Also how would the double meta work if I need an accessible cabin? If I booked an inside accessible could I do the two cabin upgrade to an aft?
Any one have any ideas, welcome all suggestions
Thank You
Brian

We have Select Dinning on our cruise this September, in the past I was able to pre-book dinner in the main dinning room for each night. We found this worked great, we did not have to wait to be seated.
i was just in the cruise planner, I can not find anywhere to book this. Has Celebrity changed the policy?

In September we will be going on our 6th Celebrity cruise. I use a small lightweight travel scooter, and yes as long as you have some mobility, ie can climb steps into a bus. You can take shore excursions. Contact the Celebrity Access Department, they are very good. Most times they reserve the front seat for me and my wife in the bus. They are the main reason we travel on Celebrity.

Gastric Pub does have a bunch of TV’S.
Last year I watched a Penn State Football game. Also if they don’t show it you should be able to stream it if you have a Wi- Fi package.

We used Blackberry, from Heathrow to Southampton, and then from our hotel in London after the cruise, back to Heathrow. No problems, was on time, very professional.
