We did the Haven on the Escape. We loved it, it's hard to describe, but it just made everything better. No lines, no need to go to the buffet, full meals in our room (loved this for breakfast)

The courtyard and restaurant are awesome, snacks in the room are great.

Having space in our cabin as a family was also amazing

Is this true, you get free pay per view movies? or do you mean the dvd collection that you can request movies from?

It was free pay per view movies when we were on the Escape in Jan. We watched a surprising amount of movies at night before bed

Don't let them make the upgrade be at your cost. We had this issue with a forward facing penthouse on the Escape this past Jan and they gave us the connecting balcony room for free.

We were shocked how many movies we watched while on board. We would end up back in the room between 10-11 and watched a movie most nights, we really enjoyed it, they are usually movies that aren't out yet to buy, so it depends on how many kid movies are out at that time

We were there in Jan, loved it. Got food, drinks and chairs at the Tiki bar, kids were free. Great low cost day and would go back again

Leaving on the Escape in the Haven on Saturday. 9th cruise, first in a suite. We are really excited about trying the Haven.

Do some googling, you may find some YouTube videos and social media groups that may be of interest to you that explore the Haven.

If there are rooms left they'd be snowing because they want people to book those expensive rooms.

If it shows sold out, I think it's probably sold out.

I would be calling and talking to someone - often calls in call centres are recorded so they may be able to listen to the recording

This is great info. We are Canadian and have a good rate for our cruise next week. It will save me money if I can pre pay my tip by buying OBC and then charging the tip to the account.

I think at this point you are out of luck. If you weren't happy with their offer of money off a future cruise it should have been dealt with then not going back almost a year later to ask for something different.

When faced with the decision of standing in line for an hour and a half with no additional charge or walking right in and paying a fee of approximately $20 I would choose the latter on my vacation.

Me too, but I have the UDP so I choose no lines and no cost.

That's great but get them to give you something in writing that the kids will get Haven privileges.

Kids are still in the existing reservation as well as a new room in my sons name.

This was their error not an upgrade so I'm not worried about issues, if there are we will get them fixed when we arrive.

We are sailing on the Escape in January and are booked in a forward facing penthouse for my family of 4.

NCL called today because there is an error in that this suite is only supposed to sleep 3.

To compensate for the error they are giving us the connecting balcony room at no charge.

I'm thrilled that we will have the living room area in the penthouse and won't have to use it for sleeping and the kids will get their own bathroom.

Great review. I'll be on the 1/9/16 sailing and will be staying in the Haven too. I'm glad to know that Adrian is the concierge. I have the UDP and will be traveling with my daughter (22), my sister, and my mother. Was LeBistro the only specialty restaurant you ate in? After reading through a few other threads, I'll be calling today to make dinner reservations for every night. We eat relatively early (6pm), so I'm crossing my fingers that there won't be any issues. Glad to hear that your Haven experience was as it should have been. I'm looking forward to mine [emoji4]

So if we have a movie night in the room do they have popcorn they can bring to us and if so what kind of popcorn is it?

There was popcorn available in the lobby on the Getaway when they were showing movies.

Haven doesn't have a kids menu so by some of the comments I should feel horrible requesting kids meals for my children in the Haven restaurant?

This thread is making me excited for my first Haven cruise in 6 1/2 weeks

We booked in Feb at around 9% all of my dining, shore excursions, spa pass etc.
