Has anyone else received an e-mail like this from Royal Caribbean? I was looking forward to my South Beach beach bed this October. We were there 2 years ago and loved the location.
Does anyone have any info on the Breeze Bay beds? How is the location compared to South Beach?
Thanks!***
Dear Guest,
Can’t wait for you to experience everything our private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, has to offer. Before you arrive, we have some info to share about your South Beach Full-Day Beach Bed.
Prior to the grand opening of Coco Beach Club and our reimagined South Beach area, our plan was to add a few additional beach beds. However, we quickly realized we could not accommodate that many beach beds without making it too crowded. So instead, we created a new venue now known as Breezy Bay at Chill Island to better accommodate you and your party. Minor location change – still an awesome day at the beach you were looking forward to.
This means your Full-Day Beach Bed will be waiting for you at the new Breezy Bay, instead of South Beach. And good news, you’ll still receive all the same amenities! Plus, you’ll have a wonderful view of the first-ever over water cabanas in the Bahamas! We can’t wait for you to relax in comfort, feeling the soothing ocean breeze, soaking up the sun, while watching the waves gently roll in. It’s truly amazing.
Thanks for your understanding. We look forward to welcoming you onboard and if you want to learn more about Perfect Day at CocoCay, visit our website here.
See you onboard soon!
Sincerely,
Royal Caribbean International

Love this review!! We will be on the ship in the Fall. Have a wonderful cruise and thanks so much for taking the time to detail your review.

Very cool! I'll be on Oasis in October when she leaves from Bayonne.

Hi all
We will be on a 7 day cruise from New Jersey to Florida and Bahamas in October.
A few questions...
1. We dock in Port Canaveral at 1pm. Is it worth the $400 for the 4 of us to take the RCI transfer to Magic Kindgom?
2. Is the $500USD for magic kingdom worth it for just 6 hours? Our RCI transfer would pick us up at 6:30
3. How crowded would Magic Kingdom be in October? Would it even be fun for a 5 and 3 year old? (They’ve never been to a theme park)
thanks!

Does anyone know if the splash area for kids will remain untouched?

Thanks for this review! Did you notice the smell of smoke anywhere? I believe that there is smoking allowed in the casino?
Thanks 🙂 -
Hi everyone
I was thinking of taking a 4 day cruise solo to Alaska this May on the Golden.
I’m married with 2 young kids and previously went to Alaska 8 years ago with Celebrity on my honeymoon.
Will there be many (or any) single travelers? Will I likely be bored? I’ve never traveled alone before but since I’m out west for work prior to the cruise, I thought 4 days would be a perfect length of time to get away.

I saw the youtube video of this cabin and was surprised how obstructed this was. I paid $120 to switch to a non-aft balcony on deck 7. I hope I made the right call :)
-
Deck 6 does not look directly into the water. There is a loooooooooooooong deck between your balcony and the back of the ship.
The balcony is larger than the balcony of the same category cabin on the side of the ship, but on Deck 6, the view is quite compromised.

Thank you for this! Really appreciated.

Has anyone had this balcony before? Pros and cons about this aft cabin would be appreciated!
Thanks!

We had a beach bed last year and loved it. Worth every penny.
The price is per bed, not per person.
We have a private transport to this very quiet area of the beach. Our private bar for the bed and bungalow renters by a very nice part of the beach.

Hi all,
We booked our cruise today with the option of "we pick your room" to save some money.
The RCI agent on the phone didn't know when we would receive our room assignment. Anyone know?
Also, do people generally have good luck with guarantee rooms, or are the rooms generally in bad areas or have bad layouts?
Thanks

I am traveling with my 4 year old on the Mariner in October and I'd rather not have to bring his car seat for a taxi.
How are the Royal Caribbean transfers to / from ship? Are they on a big coach bus, or is it a regular van that I would need a car seat for anyway?
I feel comfortable without his car seat on a big bus, but I wouldn't feel comfortable with him in a van without his car seat booster.
Ship leaves from Miami.
Thanks!

Is anyone else having trouble logging in or searching for new cruises on the princess website?
Thanks

Hi all,
We'll be flying into London the day before our cruise departs from Southampton. Having never been to England, we don't know much about it.
Should we stay in London or Southampton? We aren't really big city people, but it might be nice to see some of the sites like Buckingham Palace. I think we would prefer a quitter, more charming feel though, and not sure if Southampton has that.
Also, how would you suggest getting from London to Southampton? The cruise overs a transfer for $75pp - worth it? Or are there better ways?
Thanks so much!

Thank you! We decided to cancel the room and book 7123.

Does anyone have any experience on this cabin?
Thank you! : )

Done this cruise in early may on the Eclipse, compared to Alaska i thought the Fjords were much more scenic, but the weather was pretty good in Norway.Booked trips online rather than the ship's expensive ones, everything went off fine. One of the best if not the best cruise i've been on enjoy !!:)
Thanks so much! How was the weather? I'm not familiar with Norway, so do you think the weather will be OK in August / September? Were you surprised at how expensive everything was in Europe?
-
Has anyone done this cruise? We're looking into booking in next August.
We loved Alaska, but are looking to try a different cruise.
Any thoughts, insights or reviews are greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Thank you, everyone! I really appreciate it.

We are eyeing the 3 night to Bahamas on the Disney Dream in December. My son will be almost 2 at the time, but he is fairly delayed so he acts about 6 months or so behind for his age.
He is very social and happy but can get upset at loud noises. He loves people though and is quite the little flirt / ham.
I think he would really enjoy the cruise, but my husband thinks we should wait a few more years.
What do you guys think? A big reason to go now for me is the free airfare for him, and we will hopefully have another baby next year and this will very likely be the first and only trip with just the "3 of us."
My husband is concerned about what we'd do at night. We'd get a balcony room but my son goes to sleep around 8 and we'd be in the room for the rest of the night with him.
Any thoughts / insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Hello - we're looking into booking the 4 night costal cruise in Sept on Disney Wonder - any insight or advice on the following is greatly appreciated
1. Our son will be 9 months old at the time of sailing. Think he is too young? The cruise isn't cheap - if you were me would you wait a few more years?
2. Main dining is no longer available. What's the chance of switching from second seating to the 530 time once on board?
3. Does anyone understand disney's cancellation policy? I've read it but I don't understand if I'm eligible for a refund of the deposit if I cancel.
TIA!

Bad idea? We're looking for a trip this summer and we're wondering how a 9 month old would fare on an 8 day cruise from London, visiting Scotland and Ireland.
Does anyone have any experience on insight?
Fwiw, the cruise line we're looking at is Princess
Thanks :)

Curious how you would rate this cruise from 1-10.
What was your favourite and least favourite part about the trip?
Loved your live review! Thanks again for sharing.
