This was/is one of the major issues for our group too. We are a group of 21 and didn't know what to do, so after Tons of research and suggestions, We decided that our best option is to stay in Houston and then take a shuttle bus (hopefully a reliable company) in the morning of the cruise. We will be doing this the first weekend of March, I can let you knOw how it all turned our when we return if yOu'd like :)

Thanks for sharing, we are sailing on the Magic in March, but different itinerary. Sorry you had such crazy weather, Fingers crossed for good weather. This will be our 1st time on the Magic. Looks like a beautiful ship.

@plant.. we are flying in 2 days early, couldn't pass up the airfare. .. we had planned on gOing to Galveston the Friday we flew in, but hotels were crazy cause of mardi gras....we have considered the carnival transportation, but price wise I don't know. Thanks for your response. :) and I am very concerned about the reliable transportation. ..it seems like there is always an issue with somebody's transportation.

Looking for reliable transportation for our group of 20 from IAH to Galveston beginning of March.

Does anybody recommend one company over another?

We don't want to be stranded with no way to get to the cruise port.

I don't have any reviews, however I have booKed Dexters for March 2014 for our group... thru email he has been great and very prompt wIth replies. Check out his website, I found it helpful and tripadvisor has great reviews and pictures.
