Yes for sure! They have double tubes so they could ride with you :-) all the slides will take double or single tubes also. I didn't check height restrictions, so I am not sure if our what they were.

That sounds like a blast! Thanks again.

Very appreciative of the advice about the Comfort Suites. We have enough points as well, so may go that route for our May cruise on the Gem. Do you think an almost 4 year old would like the lazy river?

Would you by chance have a liquor price sheet from the duty free liquor. Looking specific at the price of Patron Tequilla.
Thank you
Ohhh good question! I was just at Costco today thinking about what I needed to buy on the cruise and if I should price compare.

His nickname is Special K. He was an excellent Butler, usually worked for the Haven Suite guests but once in a while took on a lower suite. We had him last 2 times on the Gem as our Butler (once in OS and once in PH), he really treated his guests like they were royalty.
Thanks! I will look forward to meeting him.

I haven't seen the prices listed on the Dailies in a long time. The good news, however, is that the price for the Martini tasting is still just $15 and a great bargain. ;)
Thanks Barbara! I agree, it's a bargain and something I do on every cruise. :D

New Concierge on the Gem...
Kadek Astawa, replacing Florrentina as of March 22, 2013
Ohhhh good to know as I will be on the Gem in May. Any one have reviews/experiences with him? (I will search of course, but thought I'd ask too.)
Interesting (I searched). Looks like he has previously been a bartender and butler. Good for him. I hope he enjoys his new position.

Great review! Looking forward reading more. :) I find it interesting that the Daily no longer has the price for the "extra" stuff. Like the Martini tasting or the kids Ice Cream Party, but just say *fee applies. Hmmmmm.
Forward vs Aft penthouse on the GEM
in Norwegian Cruise Line

My husband and I just had this debate. We ended up booking the forward cabin because of the extra balcony space for our upcoming Gem cruise. On our last cruise our friends had an aft cabin and we were there enough that we wanted to try out the forward cabin as well. The aft balconies are roughly 100 square feet and the forward ones on deck 9 are roughly the size of the room, about 250 square feet. I'm sure whatever you choose you'll have a great time!
