Do you happen to have any Cruise Compasses you can share?

Either Google isn't all that helpful, or there just isn't a lot of places to park around JaxPort. Anybody got a place that they use that they would recommend, other than the terminal?

Can anyone tell me the good bad and ugly about flying into Sanford instead of Orlando. Have free tickets on Allegiant and the times to fly are perfect, but I know it is further and a very small airport.

Sanford is a small airport (maybe 6 gates), and they might not have a shuttle to the port. May have to try an UBER or something similar. Allegiant is a fairly sketchy airline, not the best safety record...but free is free! It's a fairly direct route from the airport to Port Canaveral, and you can skip the toll roads!

Is it best to book directly through the cruise line, a travel agent, or another option I haven't thought of. When looking at rates, it seems to change depending on which e-mail I open up and go through.

It's been a couple of years since we've been in Freeport...does anybody know the going rate for Roundtrip taxis to and from the port to Lucayan Resort? We have 4 adults and 2 kids. Thanks!

Thanks for the info! We will be there in June but only in port for 8am-3pm. Is this resort close to the pier and is it worth it for the short time we are there?

It's a ways a way...at least a 20 minute taxi ride. If you can get out quickly, I'd say it's worth it.

Seeing that Grand Lucaya may or may not be offering Day Passes...what are some other places to check into? Our boys are 4 & 6 and probably looking at trying to do a beach day.
