I cruised on the Breakaway earlier this month and did notice some of the complaints you mentioned.  Let me start by saying, this was my 6th time on the BA and have had nothing but great service on the previous 5.  :-)  The things I noticed were the more than usual wait times in Taste and Savor as well as a few of the bars.  The bars surprised me since my sailing had close to 1000 minors.  The wait staff did look miserable but I was able to get smiles out of my regulars by the end of the week.  Rumor has it that there was a lot of new staff on board, so I'm chalking it up to that.  Otherwise it was a great cruise.  Hope you have an awesome time.

As Scoobypop has mentioned, there were a lot of family on the Bliss TA. I believe a lot of them will be doing the Encore TA, including us.

I'm cruising on the Sky at the end of this month for 3 nights. With the cruise only being 3 nights, will I receive any latitude benefits? I'm thinking no, but wasn't really sure.

My wife and I always get the UBP. We bring 100 ones and plenty of fives and tip every single time that we get a drink. Nothing major, but minimally we give $1 per drink. By the end of the second day, we never wait. I have been 4 deep at the pool bar and served the very next time. Put it in the budget and have a great trip. You'll feel like a VIP by the third day.

Exactly this....I don't know how many times at the Glow parties I'm 3 or 4 deep and my bartender points to the end of the bar to hand me my drink. :D

I've stayed in both as a solo traveler and actually prefer the studios over the insides. I believe it's genius the amount of storage the studios have. I'm doing a b2b on the Epic in Jan. and will be in a studio for both weeks. Can't wait.:)

Definitely doing the Panama Canal and first Alaskan. If I can get off work, I may do the TA as well.

I know Mandy Jones, ACD from the Getaway, just left the Getaway over the weekend and is expected to be on the Epic on Saturday. Wonder if she got promoted to CD.

I'm not a big burger/salad person while I'm on a cruise, but I will be with people who are. If someone wants a quick burger, where else can they go? I guess O'Sheenans, but I mean more of a "quickserve" environment. Do they still have the BBQs by the pool area? Is it only on "at sea" days?
