We will be arriving on the Vision of the Sea at the end of August..can you tell me if there will be tours available as we get off the ship? Thanks in Advance Pam

Just back from the Pride 21 day and the washer on Deck 5 ruined 4 items....they have issues with the water it leaves whites with rust stains....tap in cabin ran brown at times and even the hot water dispensers by the coffee the water was not clear at times. My advice don't wash anything that is white.

There are 2 docking places, one almost in town with a tourist office there and the other a bit further away,do you know which one your ship is using?

A year ago there were people on the pier selling tours to Ottway for $35 a head. I don't know what they were like as I was headed elsewhere (to the reconstruction of Nao Victoria).

In December there were plenty of operators at the pier offering transport to Otway for $35 per person.

Can anyone tell me if there are tour operators at the pier going to Otway Sound Penguin Colony and Magdalena Island Penguin Reserve....and if so what is the average price for each?

The main thing there, which makes up the heart of the city is Diocletian's Palace

 

It cost the Kuna equivalent of €5-6 euros to go in last summer and you can exchange a few euros at a bureau de change close to the palace. All the best, Tony

Hi Tony....Pam from PA our paths cross again loved your video getting ready to sail in a few weeks...Split looks wonderful and you all look like you had a lot of fun...going to be there in October so don't think we will be in the water!
