Quick update. I was able to get OBC that is included with the BOGOHO promotion, but only AFTER calling Crown & Anchor directly. Just a heads up for anyone else in the same boat.
-
Thank for the input, but my question was regarding the OBC that is part of the BOGOHO promotion. I am aware that I will be charged the full price but I was wondering if I would receive the OBC.

Jumping in to this thread to ask another point redemption question.
DH and I are planning on redeeming 50,000 points for a "free" 4 night cruise in March or April. I know we will have to pay full price (not the listed BOGO price) but will be still receive the OBC?

Are the C2's on deck 10 different from the C2's on deck 12 in size? Or is deck 10 just a more preferred location?

I always travel carryon only for cruises. As a 30 year old 6'1" female, I am very particular about my clothing and can not bear the thought of lost luggage.
For me what probably helps the most is forgoing formal night. While I do dress up every night but I don't do the big ball gown thing, it just takes up too much space. Because my clothing of choice is usually pretty body conscious (think Express, Bebe) I can wear a different dress/romper/jumpsuit without taking up much space. I also save space my either not taking any heels or limiting myself to one pair. Instead I pack a few pairs of Jack Rogers sandals in metallic colors.
On sea days I typically stick to maxi dresses and or tunic style coverups which can go directly from the pool to the MDR. Lily Pulitzer and Victoria's Secret has some good options.

I just booked my first Celebrity cruise on the Reflection! I used the Captain's Club perk to book stateroom 2166, a C2 cabin for the price of a C3. But now I'm wondering if I should have stuck with a C3 cabin. While I know that the C2 balcony is larger, I'm worried that it will be overly shaded and potentially noisy.
Just looking for some advice from the experienced Celebrity cruisers. Pictures of cabin 2166 or similar cabins that show the balcony are greatly appreciated.

My husband and I have booked the Brilliance for a short winter vacation and I am trying to decide which if any nights we'll eat in the MDR instead of one of the specialty restaurants. Any input is appreciated!

I swear by this Carters JOY Zip Front Tote when I travel. It's actually a diaper bag but the multiple interior and exterior pockets make it great for keeping organized. All I need is my MK wristlet, my tote and a rolling carryon and I'm ready to cruise.

My husband and I love the Liberty if you couldn't tell by my signature. But we're planning on sailing the Brilliance in the fall. I know we'll miss people watching on the promenade, but we're excited to have Giovanni's and Vintages again. We loved them on the Oasis.
-
- Not having to cook
- Coffee on the balcony with the hubby
- Lazy sea days with a mojito in one hand and a trashy novel in the other
-
Italian Tea.
I love italian teas too! I only need 2 because they pack a punch. I alternate between italian teas and Kette One martinis.

My DH and I loved being on deck eight. We loved being able to walk right out into central park and only being a few decks from the boardwalk and the main dining room.
-
Read through all of the thread and I am still clueless as to bed location. Am I right in assuming the bed in cabin 8136 on Oasis will be by the bathroom?

What I splurge/don't skimp on:
- For this Oasis cruise DH and I splurged on a D1 balcony. This cruise is our late Christmas and DH's grad school graduation present so we wanted to go all out. We would love to move up to a GS but it but they appear to be sould out.
- Shellac mani and pedi prior to cruising. Don't have to worry about chips from all the sandy beaches and it typically last well past the cruise itself.
- One speciality dinner with a nice bottle of wine each cruise.
What I save on:
- The Spa, see above. All the relaxation I need on the ship is a Mojito by the pool.
- The photos. We rarely purchase any, and if we do it's only one. I typically prefer the candid shots I take with my dSLR to the more pose photos.
- Bingo, I just don't get the appeal.
