You are probably already aware, but you need an NZeTA for New Zealand and an ETA for Australia.  There are apps for both that are easy to use.

I understand the NZeTa is good for 2 years and the ETA for 1.  Passports often require 6 months remaining until expiration to be accepted.  Does the same apply to these visas?

  2. Yes.  We were on the Celebrity Apex Feb. 3-10 sailing and missed Grand Cayman due to a storm that hit the island the previous day.  There were no announcements made about a refund, but the final statement showed a $7.39 credit for myself and the same for my wife listed as "OBR-CRUISE AIR/PORT TAX FEE CREDIT*".  I don't know how to see what the breakdown is for the ports we did visit - just a total on the original booking for all the planned ports.

  3. Hope your cruise continues to go well.

As I am reading into it, you booked with early select dining and when you boarded found you were assigned the Tuscan dining room - same time and table - each day (effectively the old traditional setup).  Am I correct in this?  There are forums all over this site saying they don't do this on E class anymore and everything becomes anytime dining.

I am on this same itinerary Jan. 26 with early select dining and am hoping for the traditional dining experience.

    Happy sailing.

When I go to Order history it does not show pre paid Gratuities which was part of the AI when I booked in May 2023 so what gives?

I found by selecting "Manage Reservation" I have a selection of "View Details" under Payment Summary.  Near the bottom is the line item of Prepaid Tips with the amount listed from the AI.

Other than my emailed invoice, where do I find my Celebrity AI pkg ?
Previously I was poking around my online acct & found every purchase that is on my acct….the included perks (showing 0.00 & the pre-booked excursions), now I can’t find it again…can anyone help?

When I go into my reservation and select either the "Plan My Cruise" button - then click on my initials upper right and select "Order History" in the dropdown, my AI benefits are listed with the date of the start of the cruise.

This is not correct.  We have "Celebrity Select Dining Early 6:00 pm" booked for our cruise next month on the Apex.  After reading your comment, I called Celebrity and asked if it's true that only anytime dining is offered. I was told absolutely not, that all ships including Edge class offer early and late dining in addition to anytime. I can't believe that Celebrity would assign guests to an early or late dinner, then have them board and say "just kidding!".  Glad I called and got the correct answer.

I have the same "Celebrity Select Dining Early 6:00 PM" on the Apex for a January cruise.  Since the have 4 MDRs, I do not know if I will be assigned to a specific table in one of the 4 or if the table/MDR is different each night based on which MDR I feel like.  Were you told how it works or can you post after your cruise?  Thanks in advance.  (FYI, when I booked the cruise, it was called traditional dining then the name was changed to Select-6:00 afterwards).

If you have an Android phone and Navigator is not working do this in order - uninstall - reinstall the app - go to settings - scroll down and select apps - scroll down and select the navigator app - select Storage - at the bottom of the page you will see clear data and clear cache - clear both - back out to the main screen - select the app - you will need to log back in with your id and password and you should be good to go.    If you have an iPhone uninstall - reinstall usually works.

Thanks for the instructions.  I've been having this problem for a few days and your information got it working again.

  8. Just a suggestion (not based on any experience with it).  I would try to fully complete the booking on the one that is most important to you and completely exit from the reservation and the website.  Afterwards go back in, verify your reservation is in place and then try to book the other.

Also, it itsfor 1 device, so choose carefully before you connect. We chose Android phone and used hotspot to connect Surface and DW phone. It appears that additional lines for full voyage /full internet are $119.95 ea. YMMV

The one device only means you can be connected from one device at a time.  You can switch devices at will.  After you create your sign-on for one device, when you try to use the sign-on on a different device it will ask you if you want to sign-off the other device and continue with the new device.  If you aren't comfortable doing this the first time, go to the internet desk and do it there under their supervision to see what will happen.

  10. Where and how far in advance do you find your boarding time?  Is it on the boarding pass? My cruise isn't until February but I'm not sure where to look.

I agree with trying to avoid the Lido on embarkation, but we usually seem to end up there.  Are any of the other dining venues available (Dutch Cafe, Dive-In, Pizza, room service)?  I don't remember ever checking them out on embarkation.

  11. Does anyone know if there is a simple way to see on the Navigator app what your current drink count is for the day?  I liked a suggestion I saw earlier of getting a bottled water or 2 at the end of the day on a light count day to store in the room fridge and use the next day, but I don't want to walk around with a counter in my pocket to see where I stand - especially of some drinks may count as double.

I'm not on the cruise, but this is what popped up in my navigator App. We will be on Rotterdam for 3 weeks, curious to know if I can follow along with menus via the App?Screenshot_20211028-141123_Drive.thumb.jpg.1ac12005cdeade4f41f4aa74c9adb96f.jpg

I see this on my Navigator also.  On a prior day, the menu shown was different.  I wonder if they are displaying the MDR menu for the Rotterdam so we can follow along.  We are on for 2 weeks in February.  If this matches the current menu, I can pre-plan specialty restaurant days more easily.  It was mentioned that tonight is one of their Gala nights.  Is this a Gala night menu?
