Wishful thinking is an understatement...
Will Bayonne even be open by May ?
Will Bermuda let anyone into their country by May?

Will Bahamas be open by May?

Exactly!
This cruise leaves from Baltimore, but the same situation applies. Presently, the Bahamas and Bermuda are both closed. Also, I have read that the regatta scheduled for June 19 in Bermuda has been cancelled, so that doesn't bode well for Bermuda welcoming visitors in late May or June.

If you booked via a TA, they have your information. I got mine yesterday and guessed this would be the change however I figured more days in Bermuda. One day isn’t enough and really the Itinerary is terrible. Of course it doesn’t matter, doubt there will be any May cruise.
I agree that one day in Bermuda isn't enough --- especially with the Saturday afternoon arrival and Sunday afternoon departure. A stop at Port Canaveral and Nassau is not appealing either. However, as you say, in all probability it's a moot point anyway.

I have been expecting to receive notification that this cruise is cancelled, but instead just received notice that the itinerary has been changed from New England to Bermuda and Nassau. I'd say that at this point, that's probably wishful thinking on Royal's part. They are offering us three options, which seems fair.
1. Keep the booking and receive onboard credit
2. Opt for 125% Future Cruise Credit
3. Receive a full refund.
I think we'll opt for the refund and wait for things to stabilize before cruising again.

If prices keep dropping, it should be no problem to upgrade to a suite.

I’m a fan of room service and a bucket of beer on the balcony.
I think you might be on to something here....but first I need to get a balcony.

Although a close second to Izumi hibachi. Not that it’s the best hibachi in the world but it’s a fun and lively dining experience for a cruise.
Yes, Izumi Hibachi was quite good, and they were very accommodating when I asked for a reservation for my wife's birthday. The group at the table (none of whom we knew) all seemed to enjoy it.

We have enjoyed 150 Central Park. We were pleased with both the quality of the food and service. They had some nice selections on the menu not found elsewhere on the ship. Although not a specialty restaurant, the best lamb I ever had was at the Solarium Bistro. As mentioned previously, Chops has been somewhat inconsistent.

Welcome back!
Yes, there are 3 free drinks loaded into the card every day for use during the same times as the cocktail hours in the lounge, which still offers unlimited free drinks. On our February cruise on Oasis, the hours were from 4:30 until 8 pm nightly. In addition, you were able to use the drink vouchers in the dining venues as well as the theater during these hours. That feature seems to vary by ship, however. You also will receive 24 hours of free internet time, but that runs consecutively from whatever time you activate it. In lieu of the 24 hour internet, you can get a 20% discount on the packages they offer.

We had a boardwalk balcony a year ago on Oasis, and had no problems. We enjoyed watching the practice sessions for the aqua shows from that location. Noise was not an issue during our cruise. We have booked another boardwalk balcony for next week's Oasis cruise. so we obviously enjoyed the boardwalk balcony.

I asked our MDR waiter during our Aug.10, 2017 Grandeur cruise and the answer was no.

I can't think of any way that our 2 day tour with TJ Travel could have been better. We chose to attend an optional evening folk show that required us to be dropped off to meet another driver. The driver arrived right on time, and the show was excellent. Jo Ann still regards the show as a highlight of the tour.

You are also entitled to a free photo.

There was no additional charge for 150 Central Park.

We took advantage of this same offer on Oasis, and once onboard requested 150 Central Park. There was no problem getting a reservation, and we really enjoyed the dinner.

Fathom5 where did your wife mail hers to? I sent mine to TX. I know depending on where you live some people mail to Philadelphia. Just wondering if one processing center is quicker than the other. Thx
It was mailed to Philadelphia. The new passport envelope had a Charleston, S.C. return address.

My wife received her newly renewed passport today (6/29/17). The application was mailed on 6/16/17 via USPS Priority Mail, with routine processing requested. I was impressed with the quick turnaround time. I don't know if this is typical or not, but here's a data point if anyone is interested.

We purchased this package prior to our Oasis sailing in February. As soon as we boarded the ship, we headed over to a table that was set up for the purpose of hawking reservations at the specialty restaurants. I told the attendant we had the FNDR package, and gave him our cabin number. It was easy to get a reservation for 150 Central Park, and I got the impression it would have been no problem to get one for any of the other restaurants. We had a great meal at 150 Central Park, and then told the server we had the FNDR package. When she brought the bill, there was no charge, but we did leave her a nice tip as the service was excellent. The restaurant had many open tables, but that could have been due to the early time we selected.

We were in 8311 last week and had no issues at all. We would not hesitate to book the same cabin or another Boardwalk cabin in the future.

Pat(and Bucky), enjoying your review.....but wish I were onboard Oasis with y'all, enjoying even more! I was actually tired of cruising after our December ones, but am back ready to go, now!:) When I was on Allure in October, I had breakfast a couple of mornings and lunch a few times at Park Cafe. John and I enjoyed Johnny Rockets for breakfast on Oasis. Can't wait to hear about CK from you! I'm thinking of booking Harmony for our "free PC cruise". :)
Hi CG!
Congratulations on becoming Pinnacle. It's been a while since we met on the Enchantment cruise out of Norfolk, which was our first cruise. We are still cruising, and looking forward to our next one, which will be Oasis next month. Hope you and John are well.

Hi Ayasha!
We've enjoyed reading your review. It's almost like being there. Well, actually we were. I saw Jo Ann in one of your excellent photos. You did a great job lining up the tours, and we thoroughly enjoyed each one. I'm glad that we were on the same cruise. We'll be looking forward to the next chapter of the review.
