We had 2293 and 2297, adjourning rooms,which had no above noise and a break in the life boats so that our view was less "obstructed". I highly recommend these balconies. It was my own private sanctuary to read my novels. Did not mind the elevator wait and the placement on the ship. Almost perfect for me and the family.

During the day it was perfect. However, at night (and I spent a lot of time out on our cove balcony) I had to wear a jacket with a hood. I would also wrap my legs in one of the carnival towels. I am a very cold natured person though. It was fine for my husband.
