  1. I had issues booking on their website because I was on a Carnival ship. I went to their Chat with an Agent feature and explained what I wanted and "Ana" fixed me up no problem. I just told her that Carnival did not offer the excursion I was looking for.

Do they have to know that you're off the carnival ship?

Do you need to book ahead or can you just go there?

  2. We zip lined in Roatan with our then 3 year old. She actually even did it by herself. There's a review I did on it in my signature line. Of course she's not scared of anything.

I wish cozumel offered that. That would be fun.

  3. They used to let you book even though you were on a ship. I had heard they won't now. What line are you trying to book thru?

I'm trying to book through a website online not carnival. Carnival didn't offer one that kids can do.

  4. Does your husband want to do this? Knowing 4 year olds, he may or may not feel like doing it on the day in question.

But your husband would have to reserve and pay in advance.

However, check out how many ships are in port. If not too many, you might be able to just show up and pay.

He really doesn't care. He wants me to decide. He doesn't want to just sit beach, drink & relax. So beach resort is out. We have 5 days to do that in Clearwater FL after the cruise.

How do you find out exactly how many ships will be there? I went to different websites & with all different results.

He originally wanted to go zip-lining but you can't do that with a 4 yr old, can you? He doesn't want to do it myself. Dolphin encounter something that we can do as a family.

  5. I honestly don't remember how much we paid for her (or if we paid at all...which I'm pretty sure we did). I know that they are running specials all the time (like the buy 1 and get 1 for $1).

However, just know that any kids under 5 they are going to require that you are in the water with them. So, you would have to buy your ticket anyhow. They won't allow them in the water by themselves. The platform you stand on in the water is made for an adult to stand on. A 5 year old would probably not be able to even reach it??? :)

Yeh, that's what it said. A adult has to be with them so it's admission for adult but the child free if under 5 years old. I tried to book it but it didn't have that option for child under 5. I'm not sure if I'd do it too but definitely my husband & my son. One day he's excited to go the next he says he doesn't want to cus he's scared of the dolphin. So we'll see. This is the only thing I found so far that we can all do that doesn't involved the beach & pool only.

  6. We did the dolphin encounter at Chankanaab when my daughter was 3 years old and she loved it. It does include admission to the park as well and it is beautiful there.

There's a review on our swim in my signature line. :)

How much was it for her? There is a website I found that kids under 5 years old are free only if a adult is with them.

  7. My son been talking about doing a dolphin encounter. What is the best place to go in Cozumel where they'll allow a 4 year old?

We don't want a beach day in Cozumel since we're staying in Florida a wk after the cruise with family & will get plenty of beach day. Any other ideas on doing with a 4 year old that isn't the beach or the pool?

  8. Any ideas on excursions that would be fun for a 4 year that doesn't involve the beach only? I'm thinking zip-lining, dolphin encounter, horseback riding or jet skis. Anyone know places in Cozumel where they'd let a 4 yr old?

  9. We're going on a 4-day western Caribbean cruise out of Tampa through Carnival in less than a month. Cozumel will be the only port. I know that Cozumel had 3 piers that cruise ships dock. Does anyone know which pier carnival stops in?
