We are boarding the Glory a week from tomorrow !

I know it's an older ship, so I am expecting not to be highly impressed with the ship itself.

This is my third Carnival cruise, and have never been as impressed with Carnival as I am with other cruise lines.

BUT, it is a vacation, I am taken care of, I don't have to cook or clean, and I'm in the middle of the ocean watching

the world go by.

Like the previous cruiser said, your vacation is what you make of it.

I am going to make My Glory cruise very relaxing and fun.

( Plus, this was a free cruise for sitting through a time-share presentation !) 😃

I booked last week !

I got the panoramic room for my husband and I. Got the guaranteed interior

for the kids.

Friends of ours are going to probably book a panoramic also.

I did get a refundable deposit for 69.00, just in case.

We want to do a cruise Jan. 2021 for my 50th and twins 21st birthdays.

I noticed Royal Carribean just posted that Adventure of the Seas will be sailing out of Galveston at that time.

We still have over a year and a half till it sales.

I checked online on RC's website, there are not many ocean view cabins available.

They are either front of ship or back. 

When would be the best time to book this cruise ? Are the prices better, the further out you book the cruise ?

Are there certain times of the year that sales seem to appear ?

We would probably need 2 ocean views, and one interior room.

Looking for a car rental place after we get off ship in May.  😥 Our cruise ends on a Monday.

We plan to get a LYFT to car rental, and keep car until we return it to the airport the next day.

Any recommendations ?

I want to do a cruise in January of 2021, for my 50th and my twins 21st.

I want to leave out of Galveston. I do see a few cruises right now with Carnival

that are available.

Is there any chance more cruises may become available as we get closer ?

I was hoping there may also be some Royal Carribean cruises available, but there isn't any

as of this point.

Curious, how far in advance cruise lines post their dates.

Hi all,

We went on the Imagination last year for an introduction cruise for my sister and brothers.

My husband and I will be going on the Glory in May. Looking at pictures of the Glory, it looks very

similar to the imagination.

For any of those that have sailed on both, can you tell me how similar or different they are?

They both have Guys burgers, Awesome !!!!! I'm thrilled about that !

Any other differences or similarities ? Will I feel like I'm on the imagination ?

We are sailing on the Glory in May and I enjoyed reading what we will be looking forward to.

Your pictures in the report were fantastic, I love when I can find a report with lots of pictures.

I've always thought scuba diving looked so amazing, after seeing your pictures, WOW. 

Very amazing, how awesome that would be to see how beautiful it looks in the carribean ocean.

We will be on the Imagination this Sunday !

I noticed I can purchase the Pixels Package for 99.98, 5 photos with one Canvas print 16X20.

First question: There will be 9 of us family members traveling together, in 5 cabins. If I purchase the package, and I am in all the pictures with my family is that Ok ?

Second question: Is this package worth it ?

Can I get 8x10 pictures ? How much is an 8x10 ?

I just got off the Imagination today, and I can assure you, magnets stick just fine to the doors. I have a magnetic sign and had no problems at all with it.

I love to decorate my door! Here is the decoration I made for our conquest cruise coming up in nine days! I have always used Blue painters tape. Nine cruises down and never had a single issue.

Wow ! I love this !

I really like walking down the hallways and enjoying everyone's creativity.

Here's a video explaining command strips. I'd go with them. Tape isn't permitted. The decorations might be removed if not adhered correctly. Have a great trip!

A group of nine of us, all family, will be on the Imagination Sept. 16th !

Five members of the group have never cruised before.

They will be in three separate cabins, next to each other.

I want to decorate their doors, just to make it more fun and special for them. And, to help them find their cabins in the wee hours of the morning.

;pI have heard the imagination doors are not metal, is that correct ?

Our other cruises I have used magnets to attach my decorations.

If so, what can I use to attach signs and decorations to their doors ?

I have read something about command strips, but I have no idea how those work ?

I have never cruised with this many people before, with my time dining.

We probably would be eating around 6:30 - 7:00 each night.

Can I make a reservation for all of us each night ? If so, how can I do this before the cruise ?

If all nine of us show up at dining room during those times, is there going to be a long wait to sit together ?

We return on Carnival Imagination on a Thursday morning, we would like to

rent a car for the day from Long Beach, and return that evening at LAX.

It looks like Avis will be the least expensive for us.

What is the best way to get to Avis- 2165 Long Beach Blvd ?

There will be 9 of us, and we are renting 2 cars.

Is there a shuttle from Avis at Carnival Terminal ?

We will have a group of 10, all adults, traveling in September. (I am planning for everyone) :o

We will be celebrating my parents anniversary.

I know both ships are older, I read the imagination had been renovated in 2016.

Are there any major pros/cons of one over the other ?

Anything that could make a difference in our decision to choose one over the other ?

Is one in better condition ?

Are the rooms (outside/window) better on one ship over the other ?

Price seems pretty much the same for both.

Three adults on our cruise do not have a passport.

They can use their birth certificate to check onto cruise, correct ?

Do they have to have a passport because of going to Ensenada ?

We usually just have to show our seapass to get on and off ship, right ?

I told them I would check with the experts about this question.

They really would prefer not having to get a passport, if not necessary.

For those of you who have been on Vision out of Galveston, how is it for My time dining ?

Do you think I need to make reservations for each evening ?

We've done My time on other ships, and just stood in line whenever we were ready, and the

wait was never that long to be seated.

I don't how Vision would be for wait times.

Also, I'm not sure on times for shows and entertainment yet, so I would have to wait to see the compass each day to determine what time to make dinner reservations ?

There will be 6 of us for dinner each night.
