  1. I just wanted to share my experience with Celebrity. I booked & paid in full a June 5 2020 Alaskan cruise. (In October 2019) then of course Covid...Celebrity canceled our cruise on March 24. I opted via email for money back. Mid April no word from them status of my refund and online I still had a "booking". I opted out once again, online this time. I had a partial refund of my trip by May 16. I waited until June 24, to call Celebrity for the status of the rest of my refund. They said it was in the system, and to expect the balance or call again July 25. I got the rest of my refund over the weekend. (July 10). I think they did pretty good considering all things. So, they are refunding it is just taking time.

  2. Thank you Travis for the spreadsheet that was fun & helped A LOT!! I have a question- we are going on Ovation of the Seas and not sure but is there a starbucks on it? If yes, does that count on the beverage package? I read that beverages are excluded of served inside a licensed starbucks store, so I guess if there is a starbucks on board my beverage card won't work there?

I have never seen a dog in the SL of Oasis, Allure, or Harmony.  I have seen them in the DL.

Probably have 100 days on those 3 ships

I'm on Harmony right now, 10/19, and earlier at the private island , sitting in the suite area, a yorkie got loose, and raced and ran all over and everyone thought it was so adorable running all over everyone. Definitely a pet, not a service dog. We questioned the concierge and he said yes, dogs allowed if you complete the paperwork.

  4. For those of you that had your card improperly used, did you use your card with Cruise Planners in the last year, or was it before that.

I had 2 cards on file with my TA at Cruiseplanners. They were used in 2013 Sept. and 2014 June. Both cards, and subsequently ALL of the cards in my possesion including business cards have been hacked. It started January 2 2015. I was notified by Cruiseplanners via email mid February. My fathers bank card, and sisters bank card were also hacked. I don't carry a balance on my cards so fraud was easy to spot. My son (who works for Apple) told me to change every single password, online, never keep a card "on file" and make sure your security passwords are over 16 digits in length and contain numbers, letters spaces and capital letters. My current passwords with numbers & letters could be hacked within seconds. Spaces and upper cases seem to help. No I have not been held liable, however it is a great annoyance to have to reset passwords, change card numbers for paypal google etc...and it just stinks that someone can steal from you. I willsign up for the credit monitoring, but basically this is the world we live in. Expect theft I guess.

  5. Hello ncurcio,

Funny you should ask, but yes I do and I hope I have all the menus for Speciality Restaurants.

I am going to have to test your patience because I dined again at 150 on the last night. I had heard from others on the ship that the second menu was more to their liking. Was it as good? Keep following!

BTW, I can't emphasise enough that you cannot judge what those meals will be like by the menus alone. I looked and thought... I'll give it a go. Couldn't have been more delighted.

I also appreciate your compliment given in a spirit of warm-hearted generosity as it was. To be serious I am not so concerned about compliments, welcome as they are, if sincere. However I would love it if those following this review would just say even one word "Following". That's enough for me to know it is of interest. Not asking too much is it? :)
