Hi,
I’ve searched high and low to find information which would answer my question below but to no avail, hence I’m using the main forum which I know isn’t ideal.
My question is: does stateroom 8034 on M Class open directly on to the forward elevator lobby or is there a wall or partition in between?
Just trying to gauge noise expectations.
Thanks

Thanks for your prompt replies folks.

A quick question regarding Move Up.
If your offer is accepted, is a stateroom automatically allocated or can you select from those remaining?
Thanks.

Hi,
Can a FCC in one currency be applied to a booking in another, for example a FCC in Pounds Sterling to a booking in US Dollars made with a US agent?
Thanks

Just a question for those who sailed on the previous Staycation cruises, was a 2 Day Arrival Test required on your return as it is for the short 3 night Staycation this weekend?

Silhouette has had September dates on the Liverpool Cruise Terminal schedule for a few weeks and there are further dates listed for October.
Who knows if the latter are a plan B or they are definitive?

Thank you for posting the link as we don’t get cruise industry content in UK business news do we. I also thought that he came across well considering all of his current challenges.

Yes, although angled, it is larger than a standard balcony. Some ‘hump’ cabins such as 1132 have very large deep balconies.

We were in 1134 for a Med cruise in 2014 and can confirm this is an excellent cabin. No issues at all. Bed is by the bath.
We would have liked this cabin for our Ultimate Caribbean earlier this year, however it was already taken but managed to get 1636 which is a C1 and another excellent cabin.

Stateroom 1599 has bed by the bath. It's a personal preference. Some prefer bed by bath, and others bed by balcony.
I prefer bed by bath, so the desk is by the balcony (across from the sofa). More light for women to put on makeup and blow out their hair as all the plugs are by that desk. That's what my wife would say. :D:D:D
Hi Wine -O, this is exactly what my wife says also. How did you get on in 1636 on Reflection for your Transatlantic last October, we're in there next February and I've booked it for the bed by the bath ?
Thanks

An excursion option on our upcoming Celebrity cruise is 'Marigot On Your Own' which has a four hour duration. Has anybody experienced this excursion?.......
The description refers to sailing on inland waters on the 'Pride of St Barths', implying that you sail to Marigot, and if so, do you return by boat?
Also, any thoughts on spending four hours in Marigot?
Thanks

My wife and I renewed our vows on Equinox during a 10 night Ultimate Caribbean in 2012.
After the vow renewal, the Captain invited us to the bridge for the ship's departure from Barbados the following evening. There was only ourselves and another couple in addition to the Captain and Officers. It was a real privilege to observe the procedures and the Captain personally manoeuvre the ship out of Barbados. It was executed so precisely. We were allowed to stay for around 20 mins after we left Barbados.
As I said, a real privilege. Oh, and by the way, our vow renewal was very special too!

Hi
Can anyone advise me when the two formal nights are on the eleven night Eastern Med on Reflection? I'm guessing the first sea day might be one?
I only ask to help plan our speciality restaurant bookings.
Thanks.

Thanks, I wonder how many people, me included, have missed this one?

An earlier posting mentioned that you get 30% discount on bottles of wine purchased in the Speciality Restaurants if you have the Premium Alcohol package; I hadn't heard of this before and haven't had the discount applied previously, where is this offer detailed?

Three months on, three months off... then some masters get moved to a different ship...
Thank you

Hi
Please excuse my ignorance, however when I was looking at the table detailing all of the ships and the associated Master's and Snr Offficers, I noticed a Master was listed as was a Master (2). I had been wondering how this works:
1. Does each ship have a 'primary' master and a 'secondary' or do they have equal seniority status and take control alternately? (while I understand that each is a Master in their own right)
2. How long on average does a Master stay with a particular ship?
3. How long is a typical assignment for a Master on a ship?
Thanks to anyone who can help me with the above.
