Wondering what clothes to pack for 2 week Norwegian fjords cruise from south to northern tip. Want to keep it to a minimum but be warm if it is cold up north. 

Has any one had an oceanview room midship on Deck One on the Rotterdam? Was it noisy?  What could you see? 

If we dock at 8 am and tender into Flam will we have time to make the 10:45 Flåm train if we have online tickets?

Looking for suggestions on what to do or see in Hammerfest.

Do we need coin for public washrooms in Samoa, Fiji, New Caledonia, Australia, New Zealand?

We have often only been able to find coin operated toilets in Europe if we didn’t want to buy anything in a restaurant. Any other toilet peculiarities we should know such as what to call them if we are looking for them. Not all English speakers understand Canadian terms , eh, my American friends.

8058 is a Signature suite with balcony next to two other cabins the same. Are we talking about the same room?

Yes it is located under the Lido deck but I heard it wasn't too noisy.

We will be spending 38 nights in the same room on a cruise to New Zealand in October. We booked it because it is supposedly a BIG inside room. Our concern about the location is it is under the Lido deck and we wondered if it would be noisy. Also we can’t figure out what is beside it because it is by itself. Any info you can provide would be appreciated. Enjoy your cruise. Smooth sailing.

We are on a 38 day cruise later this year. Can hardly wait to sample all these suggestions but I had better drop a few pounds before I embark.

i read that there is pickleball on all HAL ships. Wondering if this is true for Noordam.

Received a Facebook reply from HAL saying there are tennis courts on which we can play Pickleball and they have all the equipment. Any other pickleball players on board?

Is there a decent library on the Noordam? We are doing 38 days and wonder if we should load lots of ebooks.

Re: touring St. Petersburg. Was the tour for 2 very expensive? We would like to join a larger group with thids company but if not able to there may only be 2-4 of us in our group. Did you go by car? QWe are going to be in St Petersburg on a cruise in Sept 2010.
