In 2018 we took a private tour and visited the Waitomo caves and Hobbiton movie set.  Both were great.

We stayed there in May prior to/after our South Pacific cruise. We will stay there in September prior to/after our Great Barrier Reef cruise. The hotel is older. It was clean and convenient to the market and restaurants.  We are seniors and we walked to the cruise terminal and back to the hotel afterwards. Location location location!! In May and upon our June return we could observe the VIVID Sydney lights on the roof.  We walked around and enjoyed VIVID even more.

The Travel Authorization is good for 1 year.  If your passport expires in less than1 year the travel authorization will expire the date of your passport expiration.

It was 2022. In April 2022 had to rebook due to a death in the family.

We were able to move the future cruise credit to a later date with special permission.

We really enjoyed the Pride, Legend and Miracle!  You will too!

Sailed in L shaped aft cabin on Glory and other aft cabins on several ships.

We really enjoyed them.  Different view and larger balcony. I recommend trying this

type of cabin. 

Used VeriFly on the Breeze March 5th and was not asked for paper copies.

The number of bags of laundry is per Platinum guest.

Diamond guests receive unlimited laundry.

The beds on the Vista were very comfortable (not hard).

Vaccinated and ready to cruise!!!

First Moderna shot left me with a sore arm the next day,

Second shot left me with chills the next day but the ibuprofen kicked in after 30 minutes and all was well!

The Magic cancelations were the Transatlantic cruises to drydock and back.  We were booked on the cancelled May 3, 2021 Magic Transatlantic from Barcelona to New York. 

Looking forward to Great Barrier Reef cruise and New Zealand cruise in 2022,  These are great offers!!

We sailed on the: 

Fascination March 1-8, 2020 and

Dream March 12-16, 2020

San Juan airport was packed with 4 large ships returning on March 8th.

The Dream required health screening and temperature check prior to boarding.

We were the last ship returning to Galveston. I felt safer on the ship than I did after returning home!

Just returned from Antarctica aboard the MS Midnatsol.  

I wore one pair of heavy wool socks with the boots provided and my feet were never cold.

Best advice I received on these board was to layer, good wool socks, and waterproof pants.

My hands were cold only when I removed my gloves to take pictures.  I took hot pockets but never

used them.

Walking/trekking sticks were provided.

We took the ferry from Gatun Lake (Island Princess) to the Pacific in 2014 and the trip was awesome.

The ferry provided a different perspective and I have pictures touching the side of the canal.

I recommend the excursion!

Booked on Carnival Freedom for June sailing . I'm second-guessing and thinking about going on the breeze has anyone sailed both could you tell me the pros and cons
