  1. My husband and I are preparing for our second cruise on Constellation and are wondering if anyone knows of any unique onboard experiences available that may not necessarily be published or widely known (i.e. Chef's table, bridge tour, etc..).

I was on the phone earlier tonight with a Celebrity agent and asked the question. He actually referred me back to the CC Boards! I think he was new, so he deferred to the experts ;)

    Any suggestions?

  2. Hmmm....interesting. I will be onboard at the end of the month. Had wanted to book a cruise that will be in the Fall of 2015. After reading the rules of the latest PYP (sailing has to be before March 2015), I was disappointed that we could not get the drink package. I wonder if the 1-2-3 is an onboard promo for future bookings.

Hi! I just got off the same sailing and also made a dummy booking for a future cruise. And, yes, we were told 1-2-3 Go is now only available thru onboard future cruise bookings. The promo ended for everyone else on March 1 for cruises thru March 2015 ( at least this is what the agent told us) Onboard, we were able to make a booking up to April 2016 using the 1-2-3 Go promo.

Definitely think this perk will help onboard future sails since it is also combined with OB credit. No fees to change and no expiration. How can you lose?!

  3. I just returned from this cruise, as well!

First time on Celebrity and we had a great experience. So nice, in fact, we took advantage of the future cruise deals and made a dummy booking that we'll probably use next February -- before Spring Break!

The SBers weren't as bad as we feared they would be when we first boarded the ship. But, we definitely saw many who were over served; we couldn't get anywhere near a lounge chair or a bar on the pool deck until late afternoon; we were woken up every night by screams in the hallway; and we saw obvious dents and etched-ni names on one of the elevator doors which was sad to see. All that said, we had a great experience. We will just avoid the SB crowds in the future. We booked this very last-minute (less than 2 weeks before) and in our haste to get the heck out if cold Chicago, we didn't consider SB.

The other thing we didn't look too deep at was cabin location. In the future we will definitely avoid a room below the pool deck. We had an Aqua Class on Deck 9, midship. Every morning at about 5 am, we were woken up abruptly with what sounded like people playing basketball with the lounge chairs above us. I'm assuming this is when they were cleaning the deck but -- oh my goodness -- was it LOUD!!

Our favorite things: the staff, service and food in Blu, and the staff, service and drinks in the Martini Bar -- all were outstanding. We also met some really great people.

  4. I'm jealous - but happy for you! Even though we're RCI people, I just saw a promo deal on the Norwegian Sun last night for late June for $299pp Whitter to Vancouver this summer - best deal I've ever seen for Alaska, but alas no time available this year to take advanntage! Have a great time!

Thanks! I have only sailed RCI before this trip but found a deal too good to pass up on Princess. But $299pp WHOA!! That's a GREAT deal!
