"Worth it" is really tough call for somebody else, but I can tell you that it lasts about 10 minutes. And yes, it is VERY often canceled due to high winds. In my personal experience, it's been grounded more often than operational. If the $90 cost is per person, I'm not sure I would pay that myself, but everybody's priorities and budgets are different.

You would of course be refunded if it's not operational.

    ok, thanks for the input

  2. I am thinking about doing this with my granddaughter. I have read numerous posts about the ride not being operational when they were there. Can anyone tell me if the ride has been operational when they were on the island, if so, how long was the ride and was it worth the money. Right now I can book it for  $90 Canadian . Thanks

We sailed on Allure last week (same terminal as Wonder). Scootaround was located outside of the terminal, just to the right of the entrance.

Thanks. In the past my wife has had wheel chair assistance from inside the terminal right up to the pub. I guess she won't get that assistance anymore.

  4. we will be getting a scooter from Scootaround for our cruise in November on Wonder. The last time we cruised the scooter was in our cabin. I have read that you get the scooter in the terminal now. Can anyone who has rented from Scootaround in Port Canaveral recently comment on where the scooter will be when we board?

Very different vibe this week. The solarium is deserted but the pool area is chaos. I went down to the casino and it was nearly deserted as well.

Deck 15 has a little more of a crowd, but there’s still tons of seating down there.

As for entertainment, last week, we did all the shows. But I don’t have any intention of going back to Grease or Fine line.

I thought the performance of Greece was very poor. A couple of the Support actors were quite good, but the actors portraying Danny Zuko, and Sandra Dee were terrible. They had no chemistry and they lacked energy.

as for fine line, I don’t know I can sit through the weird Sufi spinner again. If they actually did some high dive stuff instead of just stomping around sort of dancing. I might enjoy it a little bit more, but there was too much of that and not enough of the actual diving to maintain my interest.

We loved Columbus. It was fantastic and we plan on going back for an encore performance of that.

we go back for the skating show as well. I actually like the Iskate program better than 1887, but the figure skating is always a highlight for me.

we saw that spinny guy twice. That was twice too often. I just don't get it. I also agree about all the stomping. I did like the slack line guys, their balance is amazing

Thank you for all the replies and suggestions. We are driving down from Austin with 11 people so getting on the road early might be a tad hard. There are 8 children, all teens, so not babies. Hopefully by the time we check in, the rooms will be ready and it will be less crowded. I think we should pack snacks and just wait for dinner as we have early seating

you can always get pizza at Sorentos or little sandwiches at the Cafe promenade

We just showed up and got directed to the area to wait for the wheelchair transport. Only one of us could stay with our friend, we just arranged a place to meet when they got on board. A staff member wheeled her aboard.

on our last couple of cruises we had wheelchair assistance for my wife. There was no issue with our son and granddaughter coming with us as we went for security and onto the ship

This is why we seldom book above a JS unless it’s a ship that has full suite benefits. Just not worth it. I usually put in a low bid for RU and sometimes we get it. If not, a JS works fine. Celebrity recently made a few changes on the Sky suite but they still receive entrance to Luminae, Premium Wi-Fi, Premium Drink package and the Retreat. Sky suites lost butler service, OBC and gratuities.

which ship has JS that gets full suite benefits

if you demand no shorts you gotta go to NCL. but takes less than 60 seconds to reach any table in MDR so you only see the ugly legs for that time. and thats if you are glaring at every person that walks by instead of paying attention to your own party and meal.

though i do like the power i have over everyone. i wear shorts and it destroys strangers entire cruise. i let my gf walk in front of me with her beautiful dress. no one complains about her legs. maybe they will miss mine.

the thing is, it is not only men that might have ugly legs. Some women do too. So, women should have to either wear a full length skirt/dress or wear pants, you know, to cover up their ugly legs

I wasn’t able to sign in on my old laptop (maybe it is too old?) but I was able to sign in on my iPhone. Thank you for your help.

The “sale” wasn’t that great anyway!!!

I am able to get on using my desk top but not on my Iphone. Does it matter when your cruise is. Mine is still over 400 days from now

No.  I NEVER stated that B&J was no charge.  Please go back and read my post again.  Here is what I said:

"RC used to sometimes serve non-Ben and Jerry's ice cream (which is what is shown in the picture, not gelato) at no extra charge.  The picture indicates that there is now a charge, at least on whatever ship that is."

sorry, I missed that one word.
