Ovation TP is cancelled.  Guests in Australia received an email with options including being switched to Quantum, although Quantum TP hadn’t yet been released to the public as yet.  
 

Ovation must be heading East because I just booked Hi to Vancouver on her yesterday.

you said in your post that you are booked on Quantum. Didn’t mention solstice. 

Firstly, Quantum and Ovation are Royal Caribbean ships, not Celebrity and Quantum hasn’t opened for 2025 TP bookings.
 

I’m on Explorer right now and went to next cruise to book either Quantum or Ovation TP.  Quantum hasn’t been released yet and will be available in the next few weeks. 
Ovation is in the system but ‘down for maintenance’. I asked if this meant it was being cancelled and he said no, the HI to Vancouver cruise is still available.  He said it should be viable again soon.

Congratulations!  We are also in a Concierge Class on a upcoming cruise and hope to bid for one of the vacant suites.  Do you mind telling what you bid for your Celebrity Suite?

This will be interesting.  We are on a BTBTB with the last cruise a TA.  I guess we will have to do a test onboard, but will they let us do our own RAT or will be have to front up to be tested?  Have to wait to see, I guess.

We are going to have to be extra careful if there is any Covid onboard not to contract it as we don't want to be put off the ship before the TA.

What time did you leave the ship?  We are booked on a private tour to the falls with a pick up time of 7am but I know we have to board a shuttle to get to the terminal.

Cusco and that whole area is still a mess.  We had a tour booked for next month and cancelled but our guide is keeping in touch as we plan on going next year instead.   He told me lots of cars burnt,  businesses and hotel closed and some going bankrupt, all the roads are still blocked so very little food in Cusco.  He walked for hours (sent me a video) past roadblocks etc to get out to get food.

He is surprised Machu Picchu is opening as things are still really bad.

Someone else asked if they did walkoff/self-disembark. I'm not sure. There were lots of taxis waiting outside the port, and I recall seeing a few passengers gathered in another area on the ship (not part of our excursion), but I'm not sure if they were disembarking on their own or part of another excursion.

I have enjoyed reading your review and your lovely photos. We are joining Infinity in March and I have a few questions about disembarking in BA. Are you please able to tell me what time they start disembarkation and are you able to carry your own bags off?  Are the shuttle buses there waiting to take you to the Terminal and do you have to go through customs and immigration?

The Asian cruises have obviously sold out quickly as I'm not seeing anything at all for Spectrum in 2024.  I wanted to book the longer cruises with BTB's added on.

We haven't cruised celebrity for maybe 7 years and when we did, it was just us.  We've been cruising Royal Caribbean with larger groups and they have a group Co-Ordinator who helps organise for the group.  We are part of a large group cruising Celebrity early next year and wondered if they have a similar person who works with groups.  Thanks in advance for any information.

Has anyone had any experience with 'Houston SUV and Car Service'.  There are 9 of us and their quote was better than others I received but I would like some feedback, if anyone has used them.  Thanks.

That is an excellent price for a Drinks Package in Australia.  I know what it says, but just check that the grats aren't added when you go to the cart to check out.

I hate to sound stupid, but...

Can someone walk me slowly through the steps to do this? I've never actually redeemed anything from MyVegas before. In fact, I stopped playing about a year ago because I came to the conclusion that I'd never use the rewards. But now I've got this cruise in January and a trip to Vegas (I never planned to go there!) in March, so I should learn how. I have like 450K LP.

 

So...I go to the rewards tab and select the reward for the OBC...then what happens?

We've prepaid tips and a shore excursion but I'm sure we'll find a use for $100 OBC.

Once you redeem, you receive an email with all the details of what to do next.  I just email them back and give them my name, C&A number and booking number and ask them to apply the coupon.  They usually get back to you within a couple of days.

Yes, same points for MyVegas and Konami, so you can only redeem the points once.

We cruise quite a lot and I've applied the 10% discount, a 5% discount, and several different amounts of OBC, since you have to wait so long before you can buy another of the same.  All our bookings are through our TA or booked on board and transferred to our TA.

When I emailed to add the code the first time, they told me my TA would have to approve the change, so since then I have copied him with the email and he immediately replies that they have his permission.  No issues at all.  I hope I can start buying OBC or purhaps a cruise soon or I need to find something else to spend my points on as I have 10.9 million at the moment.
