Good afternoon Everyone,
My husband and I are planning to go to the Barcelona V/S Mallorca football game on May 28. The night before the cruise. I wanted to see if any of you all would like to come and join us? I think it would be an amazing way to start our cruise vacation off. Just let me know! We am soooooooooooooo excided about our first Transatlantic cruise!!!
Good to see some more Georgia folks! We’re located just south of Atlanta! Say hello onboard….I’ll be wearing a Tech cap!

I’ve been looking a train tickets from Paris to Barcelona on May 27. The prices have gone higher and higher. When I first started looking they were around $160-$180 for two….now they’re over $400. Any suggestions? We can fly on Vueling if we have too, but we’d rather take the train.

Response to LuvtoCruise50…
I’ve heard of that good ministry, but this is not connected with them.
I’m a pastor/musician, and enjoy meeting folks during a cruise in a Christian context.
Recently did this on Princess cruise, and many good friendships were made.Hope you (and other transAtlantic cruisers!) can stop by and we’ll get to meet and get to know one another; should be a great 15 days.
Absolutely! We’ll definitely stop by and looking forward to it!

Inter-denominational Gathering on Venezia’s Trans-Atlantic Crossing, May 29-June 13
For the Venetzia transatlantic crossing (May 29-June 13) there will be an inter-denominational Christian gathering from
10-10.45am on each At-Sea Day,
in the PIANO BAR, deck 5.
All are welcome for informal fellowship and sharing together.
Is this affiliated with High Seas Ministries? We meet their founder on a Princess cruise a couple of years ago.

I have a question for you TA pros. I’m considering and cabin upgrade from a cove balcony aft/port to a higher deck. My choices are mid ship, deck eight starboard, or deck 12 fwd/ starboard. I’m aware that mid-ship would be less movement, but I’ve heard that high deck forward can be pretty smooth riding as well. Any suggestions?

We're getting off the MSC Poesia in Copenhagen and flying into Paris for a day or two then TGV to Barcelona for a couple of days. We were in Barcelona in October and stayed at the Hotel Jazz, a 5-minute walk to Las Ramblas. This time will stay closer to Sagrada Familia but haven't looked into hotels yet.
As far as getting to the port, take a taxi, reasonable priced.
Very nice! We are planning to take the train from Paris to Barcelona on the 27th. Maybe we’ll see you on the same train!

At the moment, we’re planning to fly into Paris and spend a day there before taking the train from Paris to Barcelona. We’ll have a couple of days to see as much of Barcelona as we can before sail day on the 29th. Anyone have any ideas for hotels, and suggestions for getting to the port on the 29th? I thought about staying close to airport, but not sure how that would be for getting to tourist areas. Please share your ideas, I’d love to read them!

Booked this the first day it was available! This will be our first TA and first time visiting Barcelona. The Venezia looks beautiful and we’re looking forward to this so much!

I usually roll my eyes at the stupidity of mask rules…If you can smell odors through your mask, particles are getting through. Does covid only spread while I’m walking to my table in a restaurant and not while I’m eating. The plane is safe as long as we eat and drink together…give me a brake! Do you really think that cloth mask made from granny’s quilting cloth is going to protect you? There are so many things about masking the bend common sense..BUT…I don’t want to stay in my little cocoon and wait for this to go away, and if I have to wear a mask to do it then I will. I just spent 7 days on the Carnival Panorama, playing the sip and cover game, but I didn’t allow it to stop me from have a really great cruise., and neither did my fellow passengers. We all complied and it didn’t effect our vacations. So when you see me on the Sky Princess in December, I’ll be wearing that stupid mask, and I’ll roll my eyes, but I’m going to be smiling underneath it and having a GREAT time!!!

Online check-in complete! Just 7 more days of school left and 2 post planning and we’re out of here!!! CAN’T WAIT TO BE ON VACATION! After we arrive in NYC, we fly to Paris for a week of driving around Normandy and 3 days in Paris. We’ll come home, pick up the pooch and head to beach through the July 4th week. Where can we go the rest of July?
