  1. My two daughters are traveling together and sharing a cabin.  One daughter will be drinking wine, the other daughter does not drink.  Both have the package.  I have two questions:

    1. Was it economically wise for both daughters to get the plus package

    2. The daughter that does not drink likes non alcoholic drinks, what would those be and she loves bubble tea.  Is that available?

Thanks so much for your advice.  It is appreciated.

We had that in 2017. Actually, we volunteered to "Move Over" from two cabins to one cabin for 4 (balcony) after seeing that they oversold and they accepted our offer. Four of us traveled free on that trip and money was back to our account.

How do you "volunteer" to "Move Over"?  We are on a cruise that has no Balconies, Mini Suites or Suites available.  I am sure they are overbooked in those categories.  I would do an inside for a free cruise in a heartbeat!

  3. Hi -- We are traveling with our granddaughters who will be 19 in September.  They age out of Princess' teen programs.  Is there anything for that age group to meet?  They won't be with the drinking crowd, too young.  Just wondering where they could go once onboard to meet others.

  4. I'm super excited that Michael Modzelewski is on the Discovery Princess doing talks in Alaska.  Does anyone know how often he is giving his lectures?  I'm bringing my twin granddaughters who are going to college and they are excite to hear him speak.

Well, you can do what I did last week. Walk to the nearest bar, order a drink, and carry it back to your cabin. Or, in my case, two drinks. Two large (double pours) of wine, one glass for me, one for my wife. Total time: 5 minutes.

    Simples !

You can order doubles?  Is that for wine and vodka, etc.??

We've eat in Sabatini's a few times (CG is much better!), but the chefs have always accommodated those at the table with special requests, even making one of our friends a one-wholly-off-menu meal.  Yes, he was well tipped!

Wonderful!  I was looking at the old Sabatini's menu.  I understand it has been changed and it is terrific.

  7. My husband and I love the Crown Grill.  We would like to treat our daughter who is sailing with us.  However, she is a vegetarian.  We don't like the Sabbatini's menu.  Is there anything special on the Crown Grill that she would enjoy?  Hate to waste the upcharge.....

On the very full March 18-25th Mexican Riviera, we booked table for 2 at 6pm in Skagway. We showed up at 5:50 or so and had no wait. Making the 7:30 show with ease. Wish we had gone back up to the Hostess to keep a table and by pass the line. Didn’t realize that was an option.

Also, we booked on the App early, and there was availability every 20 minutes or so. I don’t think Discovery uses the early ( first) or late or anytime model???

We are on the Discovery going to Alaska.  We booked the Skagway dining room for 7 pm so that we could do the 9?? pm show.  I'm thinking we should get there at 6:45 pm.  Did you notice long lines around that time?
