Yes you are right my mistake it was Odyssey . Very disappointing to RCCL but now they will fight for the Vaccine requirement and legal wise they are prepared to fight or leave Florida for the Bahamas .

The test will be with crew and volunteers . Yes they will all be vaccinated . RCCL has a strong vaccination system now in Florida for all their employees at ports and on ship . Odyssey of the seas just had an out break as it set sail with 5 employees 3 that ended up in the hospital 2 asymptomatic. None are vaccinated . They saw first hand how fast that happened . They will require everyone to have vaccine that is able by age to get them . When you book they tell you .

Ncl can just as easily restart out of other ports. I read they asked Galveston 

First if they leave and sign leases at other ports they will be gone for at least a year. Second Florida is 60% of the cruise industry and they employee over 200,000 employees based here . The fees the Cruiselines pay to use our ports are billions . Third 8-9 million people sail out of here and 75% fly in to our airports stay in our Hotels entering into Florida and before leaving Florida. Our companies supply food for the cruise ships and restaurants feed these people for at least 2 days and they spend money on tourist attractions . In 2019 this brought 1.4 billion a month to Florida . Job loss will be devastating . Companies will suffer . DeSantis is not being a leader or thinking about Florida .

Looks like NCL will require vaccine also and are prepared to leave Florida if DeSantis doesn’t back off! Let’s also remember how much money DeSantis is willing to lose billions if these cruise lines leave.

Your vaccine was reported to a national data bank by your local health department . That’s how they track which areas got % vaccinated . 

the CEO say yesterday they will sail at 90% vaccinated guests minus children 15 under and 95% employees vaccinated .He said they will not risk another outbreak which would shut down the cruiseline and guests work not feel safe . In surveys over the last 6 months 89% said with out  requiring vaccinations guest would not sail. Since they are registered in The Bahamas they can require proof . They also are prepared to leave Florida to the Bahamas if DeSantis forces the law on them . Bahamas has built more piers for them . 

What room did you have and did you push beds together . They do offer mattress toppers I heard but you can ask your room attendant

Independence was preparing to leave the two men in a 24 foot min boat with two outboard engines were in between our ships Celebrity silhouette independence is much longer my room was even with celebrity end of there ship. Our rear engines were on then all of a sudden the side thrusters went on clearly no from the bridge looked it shot the small boat with the men closer to the back of the celebrity boat like a toy they had no chance to do anything the I clearly saw the water swirling in the back of the celebrity ship two perfect swirls (the man on the balcony above me who is in the coast guard said he also saw there engines start ) the mix of both waters meeting capsized their boat they were screaming for them to shut the engines off . They both had life vests on but being thrown out tore on man who was slender off , didn't matter they were immediately sucked under the celebrity ship and never came back up . We were all screaming and it took 10 minutes for the swirling behind the celebrity. To stop and for some reason beyond me the independence after 15 minutes backed up enough to clear the dock and then we sat there until 9:30 or 10 pm . No one came to help from any wear for 30 minute and then it was a local diver with a snorkel and mask . Our Boat dropped two boats finally

Thy found one man at 8 pm and the other 1/2 hour later . It was awful and honestly I expected more from Royal Caribbean . They called it an unfortunate accident! I hope both captains are fired . This was completely avoidable . We were always rushing to every port yet some how always arrived late , I can't get the images out of my head a and my best friend who was with me was hysterical and in shock we called the doctor on the ship and were told he was busy and it took two days for them to call and ask how she was! So disappointed in RCCL

Wanted to know the same thing but I found out the traffic road problems are the same and also that it's not good because when ever you stop beach shopping they have to park in certain locations with enough room for all the jeeps so there is anywhere from 15 to 20 minute walks each time probably easier to rent your own and get a map just be sure your comfortable driving in the mountains

I am booked for March 29 and honestly I find if you treat the staff kind you will be treated the same way ! I have a question to those who just got back what shows are on now I was hoping to be able to sign up for the shows online but they don't offer it ! Sorta bummed since I got spoiled from Oasis and Allure
