Going on Iona in October Spain and Portugal. Haven't had anything about vaccination policy from P&O.
-
Are P&O still asking for an observed LFT test 3 days prior to departure? Do they send you notifications by email if you have a cruise booked?
-
How is everyone getting their LFT tests done? We are having them done locally before we get to Southampton, just in case we test positive and have to come back home? Save the taxi fare too!
-
I can't access the excursions either. Just keeps defaulting to the login page.

The shareholder OBC team at Southampton is under pressure at the moment. Taking well over two weeks to respond, and they are now saying that if you apply for obc more than 90 days in advance, your credit will not be activated outside that time period.
I thought that the shareholder obc had to be approved at each AGM, and therefore could not be applied that far in advance ?
They must be under pressure. We sail end of October and requested the OBC with the proof of shares ownership at the end of August and nothing yet.

How long before a cruise, do Princess apply the OBC to the account?
-
Thanks. Managed to install it now.

I have downloaded the app on my tablet but it's a bit heavy to carry round the ship so I tried to install it on my Android phone but it says it can't install it, yet my wife who has an identical phone with the same Android version downloaded it successfully. Can anyone help please?

I've often wondered why Princess doesn't show your FCCs when you sign into your account. It seems logical to me that should be apart of your account with the line and would certainly be convenient and helpful to keep track of which are still active.
they do. it shows in your account.

My only downside--keeping track of it! If it's far in the future and you have several trips planned, you can easily forget about it. - Musing About Cruising
How, if you make a booking they have it on record.

I've never purchased Future Cruise Deposits before and I'm interested in finding out what the benefits and pitfalls are connected with the program. We are on the fence about purchasing them on our next cruise.
No pitfalls. You can't lose!

Are you emigrating?

I always take three paperbacks with me and put them in the library when I have read them.
-
Definitely let the cc company do the conversion. Anyway, definitely for me in the UK where I don't pay a loading charge.

With the introduction of the Medallion, can you still request receipts for drinks and other purchases as otherwise it's very difficult to reconcile your on board account?
-
In the UK,as from 13th January 2018 it will be illegal for any company to charge a surcharge for payment by credit cards to pay for a cruise balance. Does anyone know what the Princess policy is on this as they normally charge 1.5% which to me is a rip-off? Yes, I know I can call them, just wondered what the views of others are?
-
I really can't understand why there are so many threads on insurance. Surely, it's a no-brainer! You book a cruise, you buy insurance! Don't know what the US regulations are, but here in the UK, holiday companies will not accept a booking unless you have purchased appropriate insurance. Either theirs or a comparable private policy!
And yes, it is worth it. I am 74 and in good health but two years ago I was hospitalised on a cruise with acute pancreatitis and the insurance bill was $4000, and that illness came right out of the blue. So don't think, it can't happen to you. It can!

Hi Tony. See you soon!:D
-
Well, it's pretty small, and typically not very sturdy for carrying heavy plates full of food.
It's not compulsory to have to fill your plate first time. You can go back for more:)
Marella COVID Test Timing Query

I'm confused about the testing requirements. Does it have to be a supervised test with a certificate, and does it have to be done the day before. If so, we can't have a supervised test the day before as it is a Sunday!
