  1. If my family are in 5 different cabins and all 5 reservations are linked am I allowed to get us all the same check in time when it becomes available? Will I need to put in all the information for everyone at that time or once our time is confirmed can they each go in and enter their individual documentation and credit card information?

    TIA

  2. I recently saw a question about making a Specialty restaurant reservation, say like at Izumi Hibachi, and you have the UDP, you can ask them to use the UDP for that reservation when you get on board, and they will reimburse you in OBC for what you paid in your cruise planner ahead of your cruise? It didn’t sound right to me but I thought people here would have the right information. TIA

We have the UDP for the Wonder later this year and booked (and paid) for Giovanni's for lunch on boarding day. My guess is they will give me OBC for the $$ I paid for the lunch. I just wanted to make sure we had a reservation since that's our normal routine.

I don't believe they will give you OBC for that. If you make a prepaid reservation, that's on you.

  4. Can someone clarify for me how we use the UDP for a la carte menus, is it only once a day wherever it’s used, per person or is it once a day per a la carte venue/menu per person? For instance if I use my sea pass card for something’s at Giovanni’s Wine Bar; can my husband use his sea pass later that same day at Playmaker’s? Thanks for your help, I’m confused about this new change

  5. Ken, Do you have any clarification on the a la carte restrictions now on the unlimited dining package? for instance, if we had lunch at Giovanni's Wine Bar on Wonder and use our $20 allowance, is that it for the whole day, or can we go to Playmaker's later in the day and use our $20 allowance because it is a different venue? It's a little confusing to me. TIA for any info you can provide.

Back to the topic at hand regarding the Mason Jar.   I'm in the wrong on think it was an ala carte venue like izumi. And I apologize for any mis-information.  So I'm guessing UDP for brunch on sea days is still a go at the Mason Jar.  However, it doesn't appear to be open for brunch or lunch on port days.

because it's most likely sold out

I know tables for 2 can be really close together. Are there any tables for 2 around the railing in the main dining room? If so how difficult might it be to get one?

they gave is one a couple of cruises ago, we checked the location when we boarded, but when we showed up for dinner the first night, they had given it to another couple (who said they preferred the location to what they had been assigned!!) we have not used the MDR ever since

Did you just ask if your can split your plate, and let your son and DIL take scraps from your plate?

If you want drinks together, then go to a bar.  But if you want food, your food is paid for, and they pay for their own food, or don't go.

no, not what I was asking.

Thanks all, they do have the 3 night dining, and I just read that both the UDP and 3 night allow $20 in a la carte ordering, so Giovanni's Wine Bar we can kick off the cruise together!!!

So that is our plan, we never intended to skirt paying for anything!!
