  1. Has anyone stayed in Stateroom 8002 on the Millenniumm class ships. The look much bigger than the regular Oceanview cabins:)[/QUOT

Hi there, I am looking at booking cabin 8002 on the Millenium. I am wondering if you occupied that cabin and you could advise me about it or recommend it please?

  2. Hi,

I booked 6 vans with Al in Halifax when we visited. I was fortunate enough to have Al as my guide on the day. The tour was customised and very flexible to our needs and wishes. Al showed us all his favourite locations which included lakes, forest, his friends fishing shack, roadside lobster meal and of course Peggy's Cove.

We ran out of time for the citadel and city which was ok as we enjoyed ALS tour and had a great feel without the city.

Al is amazing, very knowledgable and his van was very clean.

I must say that other groups were not as pleased with their tour for a number of reasons. I think this was due to me booking excess vans and divers or taxi drivers were used which would not normally do cruise tours? I'm guessing:confused:

The other consideration was that due to the flexibility of the tour if no passenger took charge of which sights ( even though I had advertised a set itinerary which was agreed on Blythe cruisers) then the driver lacked direction for the day.

This was no fault of my cruisers as they were not to know that I would not be taking care of this for them if in another van. So I guess I let them down:(

I would certainly recommend Al. His office was also great at email responses and info.

Enjoy cruising Canada and NE. I planned a tour in each port if you would like further info I could drag out my cruise planner to inform you more.

  3. Does anyone have a copy? What all do they have?

Hi, I will be on the Sky Oct 12-15. I would be happy to post a copy of the menu for you. Please e mail me on kerry.krizman@optusnet.com.au after Oct 18th if you like.

And be sure to e mail me (as I do not have this thread saved) before Sept 28th (I am on the NCL Pearl 14 days before the Sky) if you would like anything else checked out for you whilst I am onboard...only too happy to report back.

  4. NCL SUN Sept 11 2011. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

I originally booked a GTY category BB cabin. This would place me midship on deck 9. A GTY cabin should place you on your category or an upgrade is unavailable, this would be BA midship deck 10 or a possible suite if really lucky???

I was unfortunate enough to be advised I have cabin #8268...........(a cat BC)

This cabin is 1 deck lower, over the theatre, has a interconnecting door and is very far AFT. Upon enquiry to my agent, I am advised that NCL have adjusted the cabin categories from Aug 2011 on the SUN. Cabin 8268 is a B3 (is this less than a BB?)-upon checking the NCL website, it still denotes this cabin as a cat BC.

What advise can anyone give please?????

I am very disappointed with NCL and will never book a GTY cabin again if that is the case:(
