Taxi will be quickest - no waiting, take the first one in line, but also the most expensive - about $70-75+

Uber will take 5-10 minutes to come around, find you  and load up - fare will be about $35-40 if you can squeeze into an UberX

SAS will be cheapest - about $15 per person - but may take a while to load up other passengers.

    Your call!

The SAS loading time is a concern.

A taxi might be the easiest, but when I took an Uber from the Miami port to FLL, the driver showed up within 5 minutes.  It was very easy.

You booked Uber when you got off the ship. We have never used Uber

  3. Ok so I have my flight booked. It’s leaving FLL at 1237. Which should be quicker from POM to FLL-Uber, SAS or taxi. I realize traffic can always be a factor but I mean which should be quicker at the port or easier to get

  4. We used Godfrey and he was great. He met us at the ship and at each designated meeting point on the tour at the appointed time. He also had plenty of cold soda's and water for us. He was very informative and as a previous poster said he was a safe driver. We enjoyed our tour with him very much. Have fun!

  5. We will be going to HMC next year and my husband wants to fish while we're on our cruise. My pvp from Carnival said that he could bring his own gear and shore fish without a permit here. Wondering if anyone has done this and if so, where on the island would he need to go to be out of others way of their activities.
  6. We are planning on going to Grand Turk next year and my husband is a fisherman. He has already asked if he could take his rod and fish as the ship was sailing(haha, of course he was just kidding). I would like to know if he can take a rod and if he would require a licenses as well, if anyone can help out with this it would be great.
