  1. I can't remember details. It was suppose to be last year during hurricane season -- I think in the Bahamas. It wasn't just about the dry dock port sustaining hurricane damage but was also about the fact that there was nowhere to house the 1,500+ workers that needed to be on the ship to do the refurbishment. Unfortunately, lots of jobs were lost at that time.

Also not certain where dry dock will be next year. Barcelona doesn't sound right -- hopefully someone else will chime in.

Based on what I've heard, the ship is going to be amazing. Unfortunately, after next month, we have nothing booked on the Mariner through early 2020.

She will be in dry dock for a 50,000,000 Reno. This is what we have been told

  2. Which cruise will you be on? We will be Regent first timers on the Transatlantic cruise April 4. I'm excited not only to sail Regent, but on a newly refurbished ship!

We are also booking this cruise tomorrow! Our first time on Regent also. Have sailed Oceania, Princess, and Hal. Looking forward to a brand new ship;)

  3. We booked the Sept 15 sailing on the Grand a few months ago. I noticed today that the prices had dropped and had a great SBC. Our TA took final payment early this morning. Is it possible for me to get a credit and the SBC for this? I do notice that there are still cabins in our category. Any help would. E greatly appreciated.

  4. We will be on the Sapphire March 9 to Hawaii--I have been told that the wine packages will be available the day of embarkation. I ?'d the small list that is on their website and was told that was only a partial list that it would be much larger on the ship.

We were on the Sapphire 2/2013 and got a wine package. Yes, there are many many more wines than what is listed. We are taking a TA in April on the Emerald...can we take our own wine and just pay a cork fee?
