  1. Royal Caribbean has agreed to sell Splendour of the Seas to TUI Cruises, with the final sailing for Royal Caribbean departing on April 4, 2016. TUI Cruises will lease the ship to Thomson Cruises, which will operate the ship under their Island Cruises brand replacing the former Viking Serenade.[3]

So it's going under the Island Cruises band? Will be my last Island Escape cruise in June then shame love that ship but will look forward to trying the SOTS!!

  2. Having sailed on both we do love them both for different reason, The Dream is an amazing ship bigger and more up to date. But is it worth paying more and then have to upgrade to AI for loadsa money. You can go to the same places on the Escape and it really is a lovely ship smaller but AI included and an excellent ship smaller yes but still has that personal feel and loads to do and plenty of bars and restaurants if money is going to be a main sway? go with the Escape if not go with the Dream. We did the Dream in the Caribbean and wow we enjoyed it. We did the Escape around the Med and fabulous time and we are doing it again next June.

  3. Looks like price have gone up (OCT) by around £200 ish. Seems strange given the £ has strengthened by about 5% plus. (Euro in terms of paying Louis and the dollar in terms of paying for fuel). Positives though good flight times from Edinburgh (great), also all those lucky people who can go to Rovinj with the Celebration. What are everyone's thoughts:):):)

Thinking Thomson are getting to be more a rip off P&O are cheaper but hey ho there ya go. Love the Dream and would do it again but for Pricing!
