  1. Just now, Cruise Raider said:

Princess sends all their passengers a recommended boarding time based on the location of their cabin.  Keep in mind that this is now merely a recommendation and he can show up at 11 AM if he chooses to do so.  He may be asked to wait but chances are, he will get onboard prior to 2 PM.

Thank you for your reply.  I'll message to let him know.  I just wasn't sure what procedure Princess had for boarding.  I'm sure he'll head down before 2pm anyway as he'll need to check out of his total before 12.

    Thank you again

  2. Hi all

Asking this question for my brother who isn't on here but is going on his first cruise on Saturday (29th Dec).   I've just sent him a whatsapp message with some tips as it's his first cruise and one of the things I said was to get to the port about 11am for his 4pm sailing.  He's just replied saying he received an email from Princess the other day to say his boarding time is 2pm.   I've only cruised with RCI and NCL before and always got to our port for about 11am.  Just concerned that 2pm is a bit late for boarding when their sailaway time is 4pm.

Can I just check with you guys that this is correct?

  3. Hi all

I'm looking at booking a Southern Caribbean cruise next year in October and just wondered if they have any party nights outside?

I've recently sailed NCL escape and they had their 80's party and glow party etc outside and we really enjoyed this.

We sailed FOS back in 2012 but my boys were much younger then so we didn't pay much attention to the disco's etc but will definitely be interested for our trip next year :)

  4. Hi all

I'm looking at sailing one MSC Seaside in December next year (2018) and very happy with the price i've been quoted for 2 balcony cabins

But we'd be looking at adding on the all inclusive drinks package. Does anyone know how much this costs? Just need to work out if it'll be worth it for us or if we're better to just charge our drinks to our cabins.

I've never sailed MSC before but have sailed twice with NCL and had our drinks package included in the price

    Thanks in advance :)

  5. Its a lot better than here that's for sure!

Ugh - what a year we have had huh? And a weekend of more rain and storms heading in..

Caribbean in December to April I always think is at its nicest.

I spend January every year on a Caribbean island - makes life in Scotland just about bearable.

December - you should be good. :)(y)

Hi (waves) from a fellow Scot

I guess living in Scotland we're used to the bad weather but to get some sunshine just before the christmas rush would be bliss.

Would love to go in January but it's a busy time of year for me at work but December is perfect :) xx

  6. Fantastic news!! Thank you everyone.

I'm looking to take my staff away the first week of december as a special treat as they work so hard. December is our quietest month of the year and the only time I could close the business for a week .

It's also a big birthday of mines the following december and can't think of nothing better than spending it on a cruise around the Caribbean.

I can now start planning and pricing things up. Flights from the UK should be very cheap the beginning of December too so a win win situation :hearteyes:

  7. Hi all I can't believe how quickly our trip has come round. We fly from the UK next Friday and sail on NCL Escape on Saturday next week.

I believe there is a 'white' party on the Escape where you were something white. But i've also seen something about a glow party too. Does anyone know what nights of the cruise these are on?

    Thank you in advance :)

  8. You will receive a letter in your cabin letting you know that there will be a meeting of all B2B passengers. They will explain everything to you at this meeting. Times to disembark do vary.....pay attention to the instructions about how NOT to get stuck in those long lines of passengers that are coming onboard for the first time! And usually one member of the ship's staff will have their cell phone available for your assistance on the actual day of......and you will get a sticker to wear that says "Still on Vacation!" or something to that effect......to differentiate you from the other passengers that day....No feeling better when watching all of those sad faces disembarking than to know that you are coming back for another cruise!

Thank you for your help. I really cannot wait to do our first B2B. Will look out for the instructions and follow them once we're onboard.

    Thank you again :)

  9. Hi all

This is our first cruise on Escape and we have booked a back to back. We are sailing at the end of next month and i'm just trying to finish off our planning.

When doing a B2B on Escape - at the end of the first week does anyone know what the procedure is? I know we need to leave the ship and check in again for our second week. But what time do we need to leave the ship at? And how quickly can we get back on again?

    Thanks in advance :)

  10. Hi all

We're sailing on NCL Escape at the end of September and flying in from the UK the day before. I'm looking for recommendations for hotels which are near to the port where we set sail from

    Thanks in advance :*

  11. It's not the Vibe on the Epic- the area the OP is referring to is the deck 18 sundeck, which sits up there next to vibe/posh (can't remember what it's called on the Epic) and most people never realise it's there. It's free to use for all passengers. Can't help with the Escape question, but just wanted to say I know what you are on about!

Hi - yes this is what I was talking about. I just couldn't remember what it was called or the exact deck number.

It was free to use, we didn't pay for it :)

  12. Hi all

We sailed on Epic last year and had an amazing time. Before we sailed a few friends had told me about the quiet deck. I can't remember which deck number it was but we went up a glass lift and walked right round to the front of the ship. The sun beds were so comfortable and we spent a lot of time here

Anway, my question is ....we are sailing on Escape in October and I just wondered if there was something similar on this ship too?

    Thanks in advance :)
