  1. On Infinity now. No Nassau due to winds per captain. Going to Freeport tomorrow. Weather actually quite nice. I think the wind issue back in Alaska has this ship management on edge about these things

  2. We're considering a b2b cruise but have a few questions. Do we have to pack up our own luggage and move it ourselves at the end of the first leg? We're non-suite cruisers. I know we have to leave the ship and come back on but will we be able to get into our room for the second leg right away? We already know we'll have to change rooms per our TA. Thanks for any input.

  3. First time MSC cruisers next week. Does MSC allow you to bring onboard one bottle of wine/champagne per person on embarkation day similar to what Celebrity, RCCI and Carnival permits? Thanks......

  4. I'd jump on the SV. Concierge rooms aren't any larger than standard veranda rooms for the most part. I'll take the beautiful view over the welcome bottle of champagne and the few afternoon canapés they drop off in your cabin anytime.

  5. We're on our way to Orlando airport to board our Montego Bay flight. Hope to be on board in time to enjoy lunch later today. Thanks to all for such good information and advice.

  6. The people to people documents are sent via email. You should be able to get them within a day or so. We're booked on the January 15 departure so we don't have any experience with this cruise. Good luck, it sure sounds like a wonderful experience!

  7. Would anyone know if old American car parts (55 Chevy specifically) would be welcome by Cuban car owners? We have one (a 55 Chevy) and lots of spare parts that we'd be happy to bring along. The parts, not the car! Anything specific that someone may know would be helpful.

  8. When joining the ship in Montego Bay, when and where do you convert your money into CUC's? Can it be don onboard or do you have to wait until Santiago to take care of that? Also, what do you experienced cruisers recommend as a reasonable amount of cash (CUS's) to have with you? I know this will depend greatly from person to person, but I guess I'm looking for a range to give me an idea of how many dollars to have in my pocket before leaving home.
