  1. DW and I are going on our 12th Princess cruise.  We've taken part in many activities and enjoyed many things.  My question is this. What do you regret NOT doing on a Princess cruise that you wish you had done?

  2. Wow. I can't believe the number of people who turn up their noses to a fun assistant waiter parade, cake, and ice cream. Sure, it may not be as it was, but it is something those that didn't cruise years ago can enjoy. Enjoy the ride.

  3. Well, then. Embarkation is on Monday, at sea Tuesday, arrive in Cabo for an overnight on Wednesday, departs from Cabo at noon on Thursday, at sea Friday, and arrives back in San Pedro on Saturday. So, I guess the formal could be on Tuesday or Thursday. Thanks.

  4. The commodore was the captain on the Sun Princess during our first cruise. We had him three more times on three different ships. We had our picture taken with him on each of the four cruises. He autographed each one. For a time, I was seeing the commodore more often than one of my own brothers.

  5. In regards to waiting for "sales" in the gift shops, if you see something you want early in the cruise, BUY IT. Don't wait for a sale. On my Tahiti cruise a few years ago there was a baseball style cap that had "Tahiti French Polynesia" on the front. I didn't purchase it because my previous Princess experience told me to wait for the "end of cruise" sale. Well, they sold out of the hats before the end of the cruise. I never got one. If you really want it, buy it when you see it.

  6. CB86,

Ya, I know what your sayin' (though some folks missed it!). I hate to say this out loud, but this deck (and the equivalent on the smaller Princess ships) have been our family secret for years. The extended overhang means you stay dry and in the shade 99% of the time.

    Yes! Thank you!
