Don't bother spending the money. Was there last week. You can get a lounge chair with an umbrella for free anywhere on the beach. Kind of a make believe stop. Like going to Disneyland. All made for the boat. Beach sand was course. Water was a murky brown/green like lake water and it smelled. The pool looked nice (also complimentary) but didn't go in. Souvenirs are expensive. Have to pay for the new huts. Still have no idea what Belize is like. Never got there.

I tried to buy the cheers program with Verizon gift cards and can't be done online. I called and they said only credit cards. The gift cards would have to be put on the sign and sail card and can purchase on the ship.

The wife and I are considering the Cheers program. Cruising the Breeze at the end of Sept. In the past, we'd smuggle booze on, but would still have to purchase the soft drink card. The bartender would always give me a funny look when I ordered a glass of tonic. Would have to tell him I was a recovering alcoholic. Unless you're drinking in your room, it became a hassle waiting in line for a mixer, then finding a secluded corner or bathroom so you can add a little booze out of a flask, so no one would notice. You're on vacation and enjoy. I guess just figure the added expense as part of the cost of the trip.
