Will be cruising from SanPedro in May. I have never sailed from this port and will be arriving the day before embarkation. Would appreciate any tips and info on whether to transport to port or stay in L.A./ Also where to stay and best way to transport to cruise from LAX.

We were last on the Golden in Feb 2019, and yes it is an older ship,
but we love it and are do a 26 night starting in under two months.
We have always found the food good... but it is a personal thing...
One thing about the Golden is Skywalker.. great views and a quite place to sit during the day.
Cheers Don
Appreciate the infoo. Thanks

I was disappointed in the food . The buffet seemed to be using leftovers. The smoke in the casino was awful.

spent 32 days on golden six months or so ago....all in all it was ok though the layout was a bit strange....price was low enough to overlook a few faults here and there....cabin was better than expected with big new tvs etc....decent prom deck though very narrow at back and no teak chairs just some uncomfortable benches...food was more than adequate and service was fine
Thanks for the info

The Golden is closer to the Carib than the Regal. What specifically disappointed you about the Carib?

Are you thinking about doing the 10-day Mexican Riviera? Sure looks like a deal to me! Grand class with Princess is one of my favorite ships. Go for it!
Thanks for the feedback

Thinking about cruising on Golden Princess in May. Have sailed on Princess 2x before. Regal Princess was great. Caribbean Princess was not so much. Usually sail Celebrity. Itinerary on Golden looks good. Would like some comments about the ship. Thanks!

My wife and I are booked on the Reflection leaving Amsterdam on 9/6/19.We are interested in taking an excursion to the D Day Normandy beaches but have found the prices for excursions ,including the ship's selections ,to be unbelievably expensive. We are wondering whether there are more reasonable excursions or is it possible to put a group together in order to reduce the expense. Look forward to hearing from fellow cruisers.
Thanks

Goodbye Royal Caribbean. There are many choices to be had in the leisure industry and my dollars will go elsewhere. A more equitable form of prioritizing would be to give early bookings first place in line. I'm afraid that " the Key " is just opening the door to other cruise availibilities.

Hi! Am planning a cruise on Eclipse, to Canary Islands on 10/5/14. Will be staying at the Grosvenor, Victoria Station. Does Celebrity have transport to the cruise terminal from London? If so, what is the fare cost and is it the best transport option? Also, any comments on the hotel will be appreciated.

New CDC limitations on cruise ship return to service - as of 5/5/21
in Holland America Line

I'm vaccinated. The crew is vaccinated. The ships are sterile. The CDC expects us to be the mindless lemmings they want. I won't be cruising until the masks are gone. What is the purpose of the vaccinations. Are we supposed to believe that they serve no purpose. Let common sense and science dictate mask wearing. Fauci and the CDC certainly don't fall into those categories
