We used a dry erase board and just wrote down where we were so the other person would know just in case. Worked out great!

On our tour we went to Klein Bonaire and like I said it was amazing but we were pretty far out from the land so I am not sure how it would be from shore. When I googled the water taxi they had set times (which I didn't know existed so thanks for the info [emoji4])

Just got back from both islands and I'm a single mom with 2 kids and I never felt unsafe. In Freeport we walked around till we found the taxis and took one to a beach. Nassau we just walked from port to the straw market and then a little further down to the beach. Seen a lot of police along the way!

We did the Woodwind tour in November and I have to say it was the best snorkeling I have ever done. Water was so clear and the sea life was amazing!

I am 41 and my don is 13 and my daughter 12 all went cliff jumping at Playa Forti in November. My daughter and I were happy with one time and my son jumped twice and would have gone many more times but we were with Irie tour and we didn't want to hold up the group! Lots of fun and quite the rush!!!!

I have done the 8 hour tour as well and can not say enough good things about the tour. From the stops we made to the amazing local lunch. Our guides were great! My son wanted to cliff jump and they took us to where you jump off a 40' cliff and my son, daughter and myself all jumped. It was quite the rush! Great snorkeling spots too!

We went with Woodwind in Bonaire for a nice drift snorkeling excursion in Bonaire.
I second Woodwind! The best snorkeling excursion I have ever taken. The owners are amazing. I have an autistic son and she had the patience of gold with him. On the second spot we stopped I even went a bit on my own and felt totally comfortable leaving my 2 kids by her. She broke them down to 3 groups by experience!

I was told it's pay as you go in PR so I sent a few texts and used google maps. Just got my bill and there were no charges on it. Thought that was really weird. I'm going to try it again in a couple weeks while I'm there.

I went back and looked at my email and I did include the date, name of the ship, how many people, and tour I wanted. The day we are going they are doing the whole day tour which I am excited about. I also inquired about cliff jumping (yes my kids are dare devils) and they said they will definitely include that on our trip at Playa Forti! My son is high functioning and he does well with most things as long as he KNOWS what is going to happen that day. I will be bringing my Dramamine for the vehicle ride thanks for the heads up on that as he is prone to motion sickness!

Will you please report back here how it was? Going at it alone with my 2 kids 12&13 and my 13yo is autistic so the need to know is there! Have an amazing time on your cruise!

When is your cruise? I have them booked for Dec 22 cruise. Curious as well. Going off of tripadvisor as well.

My last cruise in Nov my friend and I killed our 2 bottles of wine in the mornings with OJ. Those lasted all week. When I got my bill at the end of the cruise I ended up only having one beer the whole time. I drank so much on the islands that there was no need by the time I got back on the ship. It was all water then LOL My next 2 cruises I will take my wine and maybe have a beer or 2 again. This time I will be traveling with just myself and my 2 kids (12 & 13) so I have to be responsible since I'm such a light weight LOL
