I am enjoying reading your review. Wanted to pop in and say how much I LOVE your teal print dress! It looks fantastic on you! The octopus earrings are a huge plus!

Thank you for taking us along! We will be on Freedom after you. My son and daughter in law have concerns re crowds and noise. This is DIL's first cruise and we are hoping it will positive.
Hope you have an amazing time!

My apologies if this question has been asked before...
This will be our first cruise with RC. Can I use Starbucks GCs at the Cafe Promenade? I realize that Starbucks doesn't have a stand alone on this ship.
Thanks!

Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach was a nice stay.

I've only started reading through the boards after a long (Covid- if I can't cruise I'm not reading stuff) break. I know this isn't as easy for you to do but for us, travelling from NB, we drive to Portland, ME and fly from there. The difference in cost, even with exchange, is shocking and we don't have to go through the mess of Pearson.
I love where I live but when it comes to flights...ugh!

Some great thoughts here. Never enough T-shirts and always pack more undies than 1 per day-when you are in the "glowy" time of life like me, they are a must!

Thanks to my fellow Canadian! We are taking our first RC cruise on the Freedom and your review has given me a nice idea of what to expect.

We love deck 12, about 100 fewer cabin in the front. You can find a 2D cabin on each edge of the hump, varies a little deck to deck.. Snaring a hump cabin with a 2d price is a good find. As others have said stay away from 14. happy cruising
We actually booked deck 12! We are in between the humps 😉
Thanks for your feedback everyone. I will be watching this board for a while...

Looking at booking for 2022. We have never traveled with RCL and I am more than a little daunted when I look at the Allure. But hey, go BIG or go home!
I am sifting through deckplans and see that this cabin type would put us on deck 10,11,12 or 14. For those who have been on the Allure before, is there one deck/area we should look at over others?
Walking is not an issue for us so proximity to elevators is not a big deal.
TIA!

Just back almost 3 weeks. We have sailed the Miracle and the Vista. I consider these to be one end of decor to another. Honestly, I enjoy the quirky decor and found the Vista to be a little blah. My husband like the modern feel of the Vista.
All in the eye of the beholder.

Just read this to my husband. We did the beer tasting at the Red Frog on the Vista...now he's off to see if this is available on our next cruise lol!

Making me look forward to March even more! Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We won't see the Magic until March so I love reading reviews.

Never had the pleasure of an aft wrap but have stayed in aft balconies. Usually deck 7 or 8. For us, its that little bit of extra space (particularly if our son is with us) and the amazing view. I love watching the wake, having the 180 degree view and taking my morning coffee/pre dinner drink out there. So quiet. The distance from other parts of the ship has never bothered us but I understand how it might for some.
Enjoy!

Only after being on the Vista did I truly appreciate what the Spirit and Conquest class ships offer. Sailing on the Magic in February and will see where it falls for me.

Thank you for sharing your cruise with us.

Thanks for sharing the Chef's Table. The variety is amazing!

Do you mean a beach close to the ship and you just walk there?
No, we take a cab/van to the Royal Palms. Cost last time for 4 was $16. You also pay an entrance fee and anything else you choose to use (beach chair, cabana, drinks etc.) Check out their site.

Grand Cayman is one of my fav stops. I LOVE the beach there and am quite content to go to the beach and not do excursions. It really depends on what you want to do. We usually do a walk around for a bit after the beach. Last trip we returned to Royal Palms and spent a beautiful day just walking the beach, people watching and soaking up the sun.
Do what makes you happy and enjoy!

Wow what a week! Looking forward to Part 2 as we are doing the same agenda in December. I didn't realise how much I missed the Vista 😁
