Thanks for the review and pictures! Less than 30 days till we leave for the same cruise.
-
We lucked out and got flights for around $500 per person. I checked every day till it hit the price I felt was lowest. All flights out of PDX seem fairly ridiculous. It's cheaper to fly to Hawaii then to Minnesota to see my family. One thing we will sometimes do is include Seattle in our searches. If we do a Seattle flight, we rent a car one to and from Seattle. It's usually cheaper than the difference in fares and we go up early to play a little before the flight.
Oh if you check everyday for prices be sure to clear your browser history and cookies or if you use chrome search in the incognito tab.
Good luck.

I was trying to keep our up coming cruise a secret from my wife but couldn't do it. We usually sail in an inside cabin but this time I got us a JR Suite. That is going to be a surprise for her. I hope I can hold out till September.
-
Great review! We sail on her in September. I can't wait. Though no sea days is a little daunting.
-
Sigh we aren't sailing till September. So far away. Glad you enjoyed your trip!

We plan on using her. I emailed her but she said she had very limited internet. She said to contact her in June. I hope this helps a little.

I love the idea of split the meal. May have to try anytime dining.

We loved the Chef's Table.

Nice tips. Pardon the pun.

JetBlue is a great way to get to Puerto Rico.

I just sent you an email asking for your address so I can send it to you!!
Cruise critic members are so cool!

Thanks for all the info. We are planning a cruise in 2019 and this helps a lot.

...
On St. Kitts, we booked a private excursion through shore excursion group dot com for $69 per person (Google the Costco coupon). ...
Do you remember what the code was? The one I found only brings it down to $81.00. TIA
-
Sigh. I am still triple digits away. Enjoy your fun in the sun!

Thanks for the review. We will be on her in September.

I'm lucky? :')
What I have always done (whether on the ship or on land)...I take a certain amount (maybe $40...2 twenties or $60). If at any time I double or get close to doubling that $20 I put in, I cash out and put it away and do not use it. I stick to the preset amount always, even if I'm on a roll or a machine is doing good (because let's be honest, when it's doing good, it makes you want to keep going because you think you are going to hit even bigger...only it will take it all away quickly). :D
On the ship, I never touch those winnings again and gather them throughout the cruise and at the end, hopefully I'll at least have what I came with and had a good time and fun playing during the cruise, or I'll have more than what I came with. I think there have only been 2 ships that I just couldn't win at any of them.
I find the machine that seems to be hitting during the cruise and it's usually my "go-to" machine when I'm not doing well.
We always do the same thing. I just wanted to say thanks for all the in depth reviews Kim. You are my cruise Wikipedia. Great reading and beautiful pictures.

I don't mind the charge though I am going to miss late milk and cookies, It's kind of a tradition with our family when we cruise.

I am surprising my son with a cruise for his 14th bday but I get a bonus surprise, my wife doesn't know I booked a suite for the cruise. She thinks we are in an inside cabin. Yay so much fun.

The first cruise we took our son was 6. At dinner he ordered a banana split for dessert. He stopped eating it half way through. When I asked if something was wrong with it. He said "No I am just saving room for the ice cream on the lido deck."

Pardon my ignorance but what are "ghost people chargers". Sounds like a San Diego Zombie football team.

Any chance you have any of the fun times? What nights were formal nights? And which one was lobster night. I'm going on this trip in February.

I am not sure the Fun Times will help. They are piloting the new menu and dining room on the Glory starting Dec 8th 2013.

The same thing happened to my son's plastic bow but it was also bringing it back from a port. We too got it back at the end of the cruise.

We are flying into and cruising out of Miami for the first time and would love to use Priceline for the hotel but I have no idea what zones to put in. I am not sure where the port is in relation to the zones. We are flying in to Miami. If anyone can make suggestions as to the areas I would greatly appreciate it. I did read a ton of different posts about hotels and Priceline but never saw any exact info in the messages.
Thanks in advance!

It's a rough life for a little boy but he does alright! Hes drinking a daquiri (virgin) we won in a contest. Now whenever we go to a mexican restaurant he wants to order one. Try explaining that to CPS!

When applying you can either take a selfie or have some one take a picture using your phone. The process is very easy and I got my approval in less than 10 minutes.
