They are probably very busy during high season with hotel guests, etc and if you just go there when you are dropped off you'll be fine. They will set you up with lounges and umbrellas right in front, and they have a good open-air restaurant and bar as well as restrooms and a little gift shop.
thanks, will do so then

I decided to go to CGB, sadly I've tried to contact Kimmie several times but it seems there is no interest from them, what are my options then? thanks

Just an observation, it was nice to see much calmer water this week in the webcams at Sapphire Beach on St Thomas and CGB on Tortola. The recent high surf affected most of the beaches throughout the BVI and USVI and many were closed. These north shore beaches can become quite rough with these surges...

emblema, if you want a better idea of Brewers versus CGB you can find many youtube videos and pictures via Google. These would be your two main choices...
[EDIT] When ships are in port on Tortola you can see how busy CGB can get...
Thanks for the info I think I will go to brewers I've tried to contact Kimmie from Myatt but no answers yet

Greetings from Playa Del Carmen, Mexico - enjoy your wonderful cruise to Tortola and St Thomas! Cane Garden Bay is a very nice bay and beach and you can walk to everything. It is the busiest beach for day visitors, but also offers the best food and drink options, as well as a nice little shop at Myett's, and of course the Callwood rum distillery over by Quito's place.

For some nice island music stop in Quito's and pick up a couple of his CD's, he's a popular recording artist.

If you do choose Sapphire on St Thomas just grab a nice, shady spot under the seagrape and palm trees along the water to the right as you walk toward the water. Paradise! Secret Harbor is also nice, just doesn't have the same "character" that Sapphire offers IMHO.
thanks for the links, very useful info

Val and Kareem are wonderful hosts, you don't need to reserve ahead but it can get busy there and here is their contact info. Great burgers and fish and a good bar. Tony's next door was once cousin Stanley's Welcome Bar, here you will find THE cheeseburger in paradise! ;)

Or there is a form on their site under the "Contact" tab -

I just made reservations for chairs at Myett's for a group in February. Chair rental is $5/person. Taxi ride is $8 from port and that's set by the government. Kimmy at Myett's was great to deal with, and if you are worried about chair availability I'd suggest emailing them and making arrangements ahead of your visit.
hi just wondering how you managed to do a chair umbrella reservation at Myetts i cant find the option on their website, thanks in advanced

Sapphire is generally calm when there are swells it can be rougher. But if calm water is a high priority SH would be a good choice.
Having said that, we much prefer Sapphire for the water and island views, and for a quieter experience. You can take your lounges away from the dive shop where most folks stay and find a nice, naturally shaded spot by the water. The shade is by a rockier section of shore, but it's a short walk to the sandier swimming area. Snorkeling is good with a coral area and a sea grass area, and there is food and drink service on the beach.
At SH day visitors are normally relegated to one section of the beach, and being a smaller bay it's generally busier.
But both are home to condo properties and are good options and it can be difficult choosing. :)
As mentioned AA at SH can run out of lounges and umbrellas early so if you do go there you'll want to get there early, or possibly reserve ahead of time. But I'm sure there is a cancellation policy...

Hi, thanks for your reply !
Actually we want a quiet beach, the availability of chairs and umbrellas for rent would be necessary because of my parents and kids.
we would like to do some snorkel with my brother, meanwhile my parents and wife will be watching for the kids out, would like to have a beer or 2 and some soft drinks and water for the kids , the availability of chicken fingers or fish sandwiches would be a plus but not a decisive factor
thanks in advanced

Hi :
I've ended up deciding to stay for the day at Mr Sanchos in Cozumel, they have 3 Partners, Beach tours Mexico, Cozumel water sports and Racoon Tours, that offer you the AI price of 50 instead of 55 usd booking directly from Mr Sanchos website
Does anyone have positive experiences booking with anyone of them? thanks
-
OMG Goffs Caye is really a small island, i would really feel like in the movie ¨Cast Away¨ but would be an interesting choice.
How crowded was the island that day ? Sincerely i don't want to feel alone in the island. Was the food ok ?
Thanks for your answer
