  1. We are booked on the Independence of the Seas for Oct 13th. We've only paid the deposit so far and the final payment isn't due till July. Well, today we found out that we are going to be grandparents! Due date is October 16th. So, of course, we aren't going to be able to go on this cruise. My question is, can we change to a different cruise date with the existing deposit or are we going to loose our non-refundable deposit? Can we get a future cruise credit with the deposit? I've emailed them but I'm impatient and I'm hoping someone here will have an answer.

  2. We've only been on RC once back in 2014, Freedom of the Seas, looking to book IOS for May. Theirs 9 of us going from the ages of 14 to 48. We've always gone on Carnival and I would do the booking through them myself, what are your opinions on booking through a TA vs the cruise line? We'll need 4 cabins, 2 connecting and 3 cabins need to be near each other. The 4th doesn't have to be but it would nice if it was. Thanks in advance for any advice!
