Are there any taxis available at all? We need to get to Europcar office which is in outskirts of town. I was planning on taking No90 bus (and then switching to another in. the center of town) but it sounds like its not very reliable?

Today’s tender to Zakynthos is a disaster.

We are tender number 16, They have called 1-6 for the past 3 hours and only 1 and 2 actually have left the ship.

We had a rental car booked, but I don't think its happening. Never tendered before , is this normal?

And i want to emphasize that I did tell the girl the first day that i would like the room vacuumed and cleaned again but they came the next day in the evening. The room was cleaned fine , but i guess the dust under the table was missed … At this point i am kind tired from calling them

 The rest is great! Ports are great, Food in Chops Grille was amazing , food in MDR was not good. We are pretty tired from the port stops so we have not seen any shows

Also, there was one or two hairs (man’s what it looked like) in the bathroom and long curly hairs on the vanity in the living room. There were also crumbs in front of the mirror  

Another update, I called housekeeping yesterday and ask if its possible the have the cleaning in the mornings, they said yes they will tell our steward. Today the room is not cleaned. 😕 

Thank you for your replies, I did not want to complain to guest services in case things have changed. I am perfectly fine with cleaning once a day or even every other day, but the room was not up to par with what we are used to. Enchantment is an older ship so i was expecting wear and tear but clean

Do we have to ask now for the room to be cleaned? And daily planners to be delivered?

We even had to go to guest services to get my daughter’s muster bracelet , i remember being it in the room in prior cruises 

It has been a minute since we last cruised on RCI and I am not sure if its me but has the service deteriorated significantly from let say 10 yrs ago?

Is housekeeping not supposed to tidy up the room daily and bring the daily planners?

When we embarked the room was ready, beds were made (except my DDs) and bathroom was clean however there were hairs everywhere, windows and mirrors were dirty, floors were not well vacuumed.

Our room steward was nowhere in sight, finally later in the evening my DD saw her and asked her to make the bed.

Today there was nobody in sight

Have things changed that I am not aware?

My daughter is 11, what club can she participate on Enchantment of the Seas? Is there anything age appropriate for kids who are not too young , but also not teens?

Also can somebody share information on what the activities are exactly ? Are they supervised?

Thanks Ya'll , I hate people showing up in shorts and flip flops in the dining room , but also cannot do ultra formal  , we will be in the happy medium 🙂

The last week long cruise we were on was over 12 years ago , I vaguely remember having two formal nights where my husband had to wear a suit and I had to bring ball gowns and high heels.

How is it these days? We will be on a week long cruise in the Greek isles and after disembark we will be a week hiking in Italian Dolomites , we only have carry-ons this time. If the dress code is strict we just gonna go to the buffet I guess. And again I am not talking we showing up in the dining room in shorts and sandals , but summer dress for me , and collared shirt and long linen pants for my husband

I am interested in the same , Ports: Chania (Crete), Corfu, Kotor . I am still trying to figure out where RCI docks in Zakynthos ,but looks like distance from town there wont be an issue.

I understand it is a tender and not technically docking , but where? 

We are considering renting a car for the day and exploring the island. Anybody has any experience with renting a car for the day ?

The child is free on that sailing. Go back in and look at the pricing breakdown. I just did a dummy booking on the TA website and kids are free on the 24th for suites. Their website is misleading. You need to look at the breakdown.

I believe you can change a name up to 24 hours before the cruise.
