  1. Hi - I have a 15 month old. Does any one have any advice about how to treat a baby for seasickness???

I have an 18 month old and she is taking her first cruise in June. During her 18 month check up I asked the doctor about what to do if she happens to get seasick. He actually prescribed a medication. I don't remember what it is, but i can look when I get home.

  2. I was 23 weeks pregnant the last time I did the caves. For me, Fantasy was harder than Crystal, but then again I did Fantasy second. I just took it slow. What really helped was that when I did the Fantasy caves the group I was in wasn't very big so it was much easier for me to stop for a moment and rest.

Also as an FYI, I had no problems taking the buses. Neither did my sister who was also 23 weeks along (our due dates were 4 days apart).

  3. Hi Everyone,

I apologize if this is a repeat. Since the search function is down, I tried scanning pages for something similar and didn't see anything except for the thread on the dockyard to St. George.

I know that the ferry schedule for the summer doesn't come out for a couple of months, but does anyone happen to have a copy of last year's ferry schedule between the dockyard and Hamilton?

I'm just trying to do some preliminary planning and would really like to have an idea of the ferry schedule.

    Thanks!

  4. Mergr1125 and Carol,

There will be a total of 10 of us. So 3 rooms. One room with 3 adults; one room with 2 adults, a 4 year old and a 1 year old; and the third room with 2 adults and a 1 year old.

What we're trying to do is see what would be a better option for us. Right now we're leaning towards staying near the port. The other option is for my husband, daughter and I to tack 30min onto our traveltime and we'll head up 81 into PA and then we'll meet up with the rest of the family on 78 in the Allentown, PA area.

Thanks to the two of you again! I really appreciate all of this.

  5. Carol and Mergr1125,

We are coming up 95 from North Carolina. The rest of the family is coming across 78 from Ohio. The date we are looking for is Saturday June 7th. We would like to all stay at the same hotel. We would like to keep it under $150. If we could even closer to $100 would be better. Also if it makes any difference in your suggestions, we (as a group) would have 3 little ones with us.

I think that is all the questions that you guys asked. If you need any more info I'm happy to provide it.

Thanks so much for your help so far!

    -Sandy

  6. Hello Everyone,

I've been trying to find my answer in previous posts but so far I don't see my exact question with how far back I've gone. My family is driving to the port. Therefore, we don't need to be near the airport, we don't need a shuttle or a place that does park/stay. We know we will stay somewhere, but not sure how far into the drive we want to stay. If we decide to stay closer to the port (versus like 1.5 hours away) where would you suggest? My husband, daughter and I will be coming up on 95. The rest of the family will be coming from the west on 78. The biggest thing is to have a safe, clean room. If given a choice we would much prefer a hotel with a breakfast that is provided. And of course if possible cheaper is better. :)

    Thanks!

    Sandy

  7. Hey Everyone - another question about the classic package.

I know the limits on the drinks but I am still a bit confused.

For example - the wine it says a glass up to $8.

So does that include $8 glasses or is that another way of saying that the drink would need to be under $8 - so I would need to find drinks that are $7.99 or less.

    Thanks!

  8. I am 22 years old and I have had acne for about ten years. I have a dermatologist appointment but it will be a while since there is a wait. I have mild acne...not severe but I still get some deeper ones. My skin is also dry. I read that Estee Lauder has a good face wash but I am looking for some recommendations from everyone here!

I have only used drugstore face washes so far (tried Proactiv years ago and it was awful for me).

I second the use of Cetaphil. My dermatologist recommended it to me about 20 years ago and when my brother went to a dermatologist just a couple of years ago it was recommented to him too. It is an extremely gentle wash. In fact I still use it today. However, it is just a cleanser. The reason why I say that is because Proactiv is formulated to help fight acne. This is just going to help keep your skin clean, there is nothing in it to fight acne.
