There were no signs out today!! We were in the hall way going into the dining room.

Oh well. Lesson learned and we have a story to tell. Gotta roll with it right?

I wasn't on my phone when I went for a short walk. It was in my bag and there were other people out there too walking around and standing there. It was just a crazy morning.

Never FaceTime while you are waiting to leave the boat....

Lesson learned today while we were waiting to get off the Conquest this morning. I was FaceTimeing my oldest child at home and was walking around with my phone around the main lobby. Guess that I stood there too long b/c I was soon met by a very, tall, and not so nice ICE man. He demanded to see all the pictures that I had just taken. I tried to explain to him that I was talking to my daughter and even told him that I would call my 10 year old back on FaceTime. He still wanted to keep my phone as I was trying to explain to him the concept of FaceTime. Guess he didn't have an iPhone ever.

I went back to sit in the hall way waiting patiently for the self-assist to get off the boat. We had FTTF, so we were in group one to get off. Well I wanted to stretch my legs, so I was walking around the lobby and this ICE man comes charging over to me demanding to know what I was doing. There were 5 other people standing in the same place that I was. He then asked who I was with. I showed him my husband who was sitting in the hall with our backpack. The guy yelled at my husband to get up and come with him. He told me that we were getting off the ship right then and there.

Then we heard one last bing with no good-bye. We were leaving with the ICE man. We were then put up on the wall of the ship hands up and all. The dog got to sniff both of us and then our bag got sniffed THREE times. I was a little in shock. I don't even drink! much less smoke anything and the best drug that I take is a Tylenol here and there. I guess after the third time that the dog sniffed our bag that was good enough for us to be let go. So it was a fun morning that turned out to be Faster to the Fun with ICE today.

So lesson of the story: don't facetime and don't walk around when you are waiting to get off the ship.

Just wondering if you can still get gluten free buns at Guy's?? My hubby is gluten intolerant, so he just likes to stay away and is looking forward to getting a hamburger bun. Is it true that you can get them??

Sunday can't come fast enough. Conquest here we come.

I get to finally visit LFK next week! I am really excited. I will add a quick review when I get home.

9 days to my Graduation from Nursing school!!! 10 days until I leave for Miami and 11 until I finally get on the boat!! So excited!

I just switched to this last week on the Carnival Conquest. It was nice because the price was the same for my room. We have a suite, but I got the $200 in OBC!! It was so nice because we have already paid off our cruise, so it was getting OBC. I am excited and all I did was call in and ask. Simple as that.

the rate showed up for me and when I called to get my rate switched to that for $200 the computer would not let them do it. I had to wait a long time, but to get the OBC included I was happy to wait. the nice lady that I talked to last night called me back about 2 hours later and they got it to work.

I would say just call and they can get it worked out for you.

The lady that I talked to last night said that they start calling about 7-10 days out from the cruise. I am still waiting.....only 27 days until the cruise.

My husband and I are on the conquest on May 4th!!! I can't wait!! we have a suite and $200 OBC

I would go Western. My girls loved it when they got to go with us.

they are very strict about age. If she is not 2 then No she will not be allowed to go to the kids club.

My very first cruise we had a balcony cabin on some floor of the Valor, then got a call and for $40 we moved up to Lido Deck room 9222. It was so much fun! Loved where it was at. It was nice to be able to walk down the hall and be where everything was going on.

I would totally go for it!!! that would be an awesome surprise!!

let us know please how it is with Carnival being there too. I did talk to them via e-mail and supposedly the Carnival excursion is only 3 hours and they get a fruit punch drink. We asked if we could do an extended snorkeling adventure while they are there too. I sure hope it isn't too crowded because we wanted to go visit after all the reviews that we have read.

you get to get on the boat early and that's about it. keep that FTTF!!! B/c there isn't any other good perks that come with getting a suite.

Looks like from the deck plans that they would be able to open. Just ask when you get on the boat.

what is the difference between the two of an Ocean Suite vs a Grand Suite on the Conquest??? Any extra perks?? or is it just the size of the room??

I do love my balcony area though. We spend time there at various times during the day too.

I can't wait to go. We actually had Victor Bodden booked since we have been with them both times we have been to Roatan, but LFK seems like the place to go this time. I can't wait to go in May!!!!

I sure hope it is the old menu when I go on May 2nd!!! I really like the soups!!

I was on the Elation early December and won $1000 in blackout bingo!!! I was super excited and it was enough to pay off my next cruise!!

I made money off of Carnival on my last cruise. Sure I got a $90 massage and played Bingo twice, but I won the BIG BINGO for $1000 on the last night, so I was happy to take all that money from them. The bad thing is that the hubby won't let me play bingo again.

Isn't that a suite room??? or a balcony at least?? There won't be any lifeboats to block the view.
